Once a horse stable, Lil Rose now sleeps up to five just a short walk from a private beach. PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: Rentals in season (April-October) are only offered by the week (Saturday-Saturday). November rentals are offered with a 4-night minimum. Rentals December-March are offered with a 3-night minimum. Pets are accepted but you MUST let us know in your booking request about your pet so that we can prepare the property.

Sleeps 5 (1 queen, 1 full, 1 twin)Lil Rose was once a small horse stable. The cottage now consists of a large room divided to provide a smaller room that houses a working man's twin bed. During the winter of 2014, a separate cottage (8x10) was completed, giving Lil Rose a very private second bedroom. In the main space there is a Cape kitchen with a 4-burner stove and 1/2 refrigerator, a table for 2 or 3, a queen sized custom platform bed, comfortable couch, stereo TV and DVD player, wi-fi, and lots of windows on the surrounding foliage which includes black pine, olive trees and wild beach plantings. A fireplace was added to the stable, enhancing its off season ambience! Lil Rose now works well for a maximum of a couple with two children or an occasional guest but should be family. There is a Queen size bed, a Full (Lil Rose) and a Twin available for Guests. There is an inside shower room and a bath room in The Stable. An outside terrace features deck chairs, a picnic table, a charcoal grill, a very private outdoor shower, and a permanent fire pit. Although a dune blocks the Stable from having a bay view, you can hear the surf at night and a private path puts you at the top of the dune in less than a minute. The cottage is fully insulated, the interior has been completely finished in 18th century barnboard painted white, and is fully heated. It is comfortable year round.

You'll have access to a private beach just seconds from Lil Rose, shared only with guests of the other two cottages.

Truro is a great small town surrounded by the Cape Cod National Seashore, freshwater ponds, hiking trails, and great restaurants. It's just a 15-minute drive to downtown Provincetown where you'll find nightlife, galleries, theater, and whale watching.

The cottage is cozy and was very clean. The sheets and blankets were of good quality. The many windows let in lots of light.

A wonderful week of winter solitude on Cape Cod. What’s that term the kids use? OG. This is Original Gangster Cape Cod. Clean, simple, quiet, and original. Everything you need and nothing you don’t. We walked the beach alone. Watched the sunset alone. We even visited a few galleries alone. An epic winter recharge. Thank you!

This cottage is so charming and cozy. It is very well-appointed and in a wonderful location. The fireplace was awesome and there was kindling and firewood available on the premises. Thank you for a lovely stay.

I would really like to speak with owner/management…the property really seems to need some serious love…From outside the cottage to inside(pot holes in driveway/parking lot, no lighting in parking area to get into cottage, poorly maintained yard/gardens, many areas looking like they need a fresh coat of paint, windows should open and stay that way without the need of a stick, furniture not comfortable, inside walls dirty, linens did not smell clean, refrigerator does not work…milk went sour in two days, wires and extension cords everywhere making one wonder how safe electrical workings really are, one night all inside lights were blinking so we sat in the dark, toaster oven got so hot making toast we had to shut it off as it was giving off an electrical burning smell, fruit flies everywhere, curtains are yellow and I’m sure they started out white, there was a constant large partial white dust falling all the time, …We are hoping that things will turn the overall look and functioning of the property around…We would have a tough time recommending a stay at Lil Rose to friends…

We loved our stay at the tiny rose cottage. It is rustic, but private and quiet. The access to the bay is lovely. We enjoyed having our dog with us.
