My husband and I stayed here for a weekend winter getaway with another couple. We absolutely loved our stay. The views from the living room were gorgeous - very relaxing having a morning coffee with the Pellet stove going and enjoying the views out to the lake. The sauna was the highlight of the stay- we all enjoyed it. Wish we could have stayed longer! The host was easy to communicate with and very kind. We will be back!

Exceeded expectations in every way. Beautiful sunsets, perfect small getaway, gracious host, luxurious sauna, low carbon footprint, attention to details and location, location, location will have us coming back again and again.

Tradstuga was a great stay. We rented it for my mother's 70th birthday staycation, and it didn't disappoint. The location was lovely and next to a cute nature preserve with easy paths for walking. We appreciated the amenities and upscale products provided by the host as well as the very Vermont-Swedish gift bag. The host as done a great job of tying the two cultures together in a place that allows you to unwind and chill.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tradstuga. The house had such a luxurious feel with all of the wonderful amenities provided by the host. The bed was really comfortable and cozy and the climate control in the house was great. We spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the beautiful scenery and nature all around us. Bryan was very responsive to the minor issues we encountered and communication was excellent. We would not hesitate to stay here again on a future visit to this area.

We stayed at Tradstuga for a holiday weekend (2 adults 1 toddler). The property is exactly as pictured - clean, new, and beautifully decorated. Bryan, the host, has put a lot of care and attention to making the home feel Swedish, down to decor, plates and mugs, and linens. We appreciated these details and took note of a lot of the homewares to buy for ourselves one day! Guests receive a generous gift bag of local maple syrup, dishtowels, pens, and pancake mix. It's a lovely welcome and we have enjoyed all of the products so far.Bryan's commitment to eco-friendly products is clear, and he provided cleaning sprays, (Swedish!) dishcloths, washing powders, compost bags, etc. The kitchen was nicely outfitted with tea/coffee, salt, pepper, a few seasonings, and Grazia olive oil.The beds are extremely comfortable and we all slept well in the house. Climate controls worked well and kept the home cool in the heat of the summer.Water pressure was good in the bathrooms, and there are SO many towels! A family of four could stay for 2 weeks and not need to wash towels. There are makeup towels, hand towels, and beach towels as well. Bryan has stocked the bathrooms with local Vermont toiletries, which was a lovely touch. We spent a lot of time on the porch enjoying the view and had a really lovely weekend. Bryan was a wonderful host and it's clear he has put a lot of thought and effort into creating and maintaining the property. We look forward to returning in the future.
