Stayed Dec 19, 2025Absolutely wonderful guest house! Very clean, comfortable bed, sofa and very well thought out space . Kirsten has paid so much attention to every detail to make for a great stay. Close to town and the airport, yet just the right distance away for a quiet restful stay.Looking forward to another visit and most definitely recommend the Tilted Rooster Guesthouse!

Stayed Nov 16, 2025This was exactly what we needed for our vacation. Beautiful outside views and horses as neighbors. The host made sure we had everything that we needed and then some, even offered a crock pot In case we needed it. They were very easy to communicate with and very friendly.We will definitely be back in the upcoming years.And will refer other people to stay.

We had fire in our house in GJ and they are still working on repairs so we stay in a camper traileron our property. We have used the Montrose trips as a get-away and out of the trailer

Stayed Oct 9, 2024Clean, safe, convenient, and met our needs. We we only used it for small meals and sleeping. Pay close attention to the size description. It is not a place to cook much or even play board games comfortably.

Stayed Aug 8, 2024It was nice, quiet, peaceful place to stay. The neighbors were quiet and their dog was friendly. She would sometimes join us of an evening and just lay there for a while before getting bored and go back home! Just be aware though, this is a one bedroom cabin with the second ‘room’ being a bed in the front room area. It was still a comfortable place to sleep and enjoy TV. It is small though and your only cooking to be done is in a microwave or on a burner plate. Consider eating out or getting take out!! The views are amazing and we enjoyed a few of our takeout meals in the little sitting area in the front yard late of an evening after the sun started to set. I would go again and stay here with a second adult or a good friend but not very child friendly and not a lot of privacy!!
