Adorable little house with everything you need to have a comfortable stay! Property management was easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to make my stay perfect!!

Our stay at the Wright Place was amazing! I cant say enough about our stay! Doug and Lynn was so nice, accommodating, and very thoughtful! It was both my husband and my birthdays and they had us a birthday gift with a birthday card! Just unheard of anymore, especially when we have never met until our visit! Like i said, i cant say enough or better still, i could write a letter about how accommodating they were to us and it would take too long, so all i want to finish saying is....we met new friends and caring friends!

The Wright Place did not disappoint. Lynn and her family were lovely and went above and beyond for ours. We will be back!

I enjoyed a quiet and relaxing stay at The Wright Place. Lynn was very welcoming and ensured that I had everything I needed before and during my stay. The cottage is well appointed and comfortable, with everything you need for your visit. There were even snacks on the counter in case I got a bit hungry! The location is perfect--quiet, but a short drive from plenty of restaurants and stores. If I find myself in Kingsport again, I'll definitely be back!

Proximity to Exchange Place made this an ideal location. Super accommodating host.

Cute little cottage. We enjoyed our short stay. Lynn was over and above with attention to detail. Bagels and muffins were a nice touch, along with little snacks.

This is a rare gem! I was a guest of the Wrights in this comfy cottage for three extended weekends this month. These folks are the kindest human being this side of heaven!!! They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and convenience at EVERY turn! They were thoughtful and considerate, providing little extras here and there, making my time away from my family a bit sweeter:) I highly recommend staying here.

My wife and I loved staying here. Lynn was very nice and accommodating and treated us like family. Lotsa goodies for us, comfortable environment and very clean. Five stars, wish I could give more.

The property went far and above our expectations. Neat, clean, beautifully decorated. Everything we needed for the eleven days we were there. Host and hostess were kind, generous and attentive to our needs. We couldn’t be happier with our choice and will stay again when in the area.

Everything was as described or better. The bed was super comfy. Great kitchen if needed. The host even had snacks and treats. Very lovely.

This was one of the best places ive rented. Owner wanted to meet the guest and was very contactable if anything was needed. Located in a quite area and everything was ready for tou when you arrived. I would definitely return to this rental if i ever need to stay in the area again.

I would highly recommend The Wright Place for anyone staying in the Tri-Cities area. It is nice little place in a very quiet neighborhood. The rental was exceptionally clean and the hosts are very kind and easy to communicate with. It has all the amenities you need including a full kitchen and plenty of closet space.

The host was very welcoming and provided local baked goods for our stay. It was very clean and just as advertised.

Fantastic property close to everything in the Tri Cities! This truly felt like my home away from home. The hosts are so kind and welcoming! The bed was super comfortable and the couch downstairs is the best couch I’ve ever relaxed on. I highly recommend staying here - it’s close to everything. Great neighborhood - very safe. I traveled alone and felt comfortable the entire time. There are lots of deer, a few friendly local cats (outside), and the owners have adorable pups you’ll see when you walk by the main house. Great experience - thanks again!

If you’re coming to Kingsport, this is where you want to be. The host is a gem … Lynn and Doug made sure we had everything (and I mean everything) we possibly could have needed from fresh baked goods to toiletries and firewood for a bonfire. I could not recommend this rental more - you will be very happy with your decision, should you decide to stay here. 5 stars all around.

Couldn't ask for a cleaner place and more accommodating host. They were the top that we have ever had. The A/C was always perfect.The extra special effects placed in the cottage were beyond what we could of ever hoped for. Snacks, treats and even an unexpected meal all ready for us when we arrived. The personality of the Host were phenomenal.

The property manager was very kind and accommodating. Love the cottage. It was very clean and exactly how it was described online. Enjoyed our two nights day..

Very clean and a hospitable hostess. Lynn is very attentive to detail and readily available before the visit and when at the property.

When we arrived we were greeted by Lynn and her son. They help us carry our things to the house. The house was perfect. Lynn thought of everything. Water in the fridge and a bucket of snacks. This was our first VRBO rental and it will be very very hard to top the hospitality that we received. We will definitely stay there again when we visit the area. The location was great. Close to shopping and many restaurants. We chose the Wright location.

This is a cozy little house in a quiet neighborhood - actually in the owner's side yard. Ample room for a couple to enjoy. Lynn provided bottles of water, coffee and pastries. Plenty of towels and a comfortable bed. Kitchen fully furnished including microwave. There is not a dishwasher but who cooks when there's just two of you! We were there in July. The yard had plenty of shade. It was just what we needed for our trip.

I enjoyed my stay at the Wright Place. I had communication with the host before arriving, and I told her my reasons for traveling (birthday related, not mine). When I arrived to check in, I was shown around the property and there was a present waiting on the counter! There was also a little bucket of snacks on the counter, pastries in a dish, and water bottles in the fridge! I thought that was very kind of her. The area was nice and quiet, which allowed me to catch up on some much needed sleep too. I did not take any pictures of the property or house, as I am more of a live in the moment type of person. It was cute though. I would recommend this property to others if they were visiting the area.

Unforgettable VRBO experience. Lynn went above & beyond at every turn. The neighborhood was beautiful, tree-lined and very quiet. Groceries, restaurants & anything else needed were just minutes away. We were warmly greeted when we arrived; we had a reserved parking spot in the driveway, and they even helped carry in our luggage... who does that?!?We were welcomed to a very clean cottage with chocolates on our pillows, snacks, breakfast treats & coffee pods in the kitchen, extra pantry items, cooking utensils and bathroom toiletries. The bed was comfy, and the A/Cs upstairs & downstairs kept us cool. They also provided distilled water for my CPAP. We were even treated to nighttime firefly shows in the yard!But those were only part of the Wright Place charm. Lynn and her family made us feel like we were part of theirs, all without being intrusive. Our first friends in TN are now lifelong friends. If you decide to stay at the Wright Place and aren’t completely satisfied… it’s probably you.

We had a nice stay. It was a cute property. And the neighborhood was fine. We were close to everything we wanted to do. We were warned that the a/c wasn't quite up to the task to cooling the cabin and she had ordered a second unit. So, the 1st floor was kinda warm and we spent most of our time upstairs. All in all i recommend the host and the cottage. The hostess was kind and even helped us wuth our bags and offered to help us should we need it. Fortunately, we were mostly out and about in the area hiking and playing disc golf.

My family and I had a very enjoyable mini vacation. The cottage was clean & comfortable. The host, Lynn, met us when we arrived and kindly offered to help us get our things to the cottage. A lot of thoughtful touches… My daughters loved the breakfast items along with a basket of snacks, thick fluffy towels, toiletries in case something is forgotten, Hershey kisses left on the pillows and TV's upstairs and downstairs. She wanted to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. It was a nice quiet place and we would definitely stay again.

I can't say enough about my recent trip to my hometown. I was visiting to see my youngest granddaughter graduate and to attend my 50-year high school reunion. And Lynn made it so special. Not only is the house completely adorable, Lynn and Doug are absolutely amazing! From the moment I pulled into the drive, I felt like I was being greeted by my family! Needless to say, by the time I left, I felt like family! Thank you, Lynn, Doug, Cayden, Dallas, Sheila, Blue, Baby, Pop!!!Love from Maryland!!!

Charming little home in a nice, quiet neighborhood close to shopping and restaurants. Lynn is a fabulous host who made sure we had everything we needed and made sure our two-week stay was enjoyable. Since we have family close by, we will be using the Wright house more often!! 10/10 Terri

We came at night after a long day of activities. Lynn and her husband were welcoming and the guesthouse is clean, charming, and comfortable. You have everything you need in a peaceful neighborhood setting.

It was a very nice, quiet place. The owner was very accommodating and always available for questions or needs of the occupants. I will definitely stay when I return to the area.

My girlfriend and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this house! Lynn and her family (and dogs and cats) were all incredibly friendly and accommodating. If you forgot something on your trip, there is a really good chance Lynn has a replacement in her house (gf forgot a razor and Lynn brought one over). Excellent breakfast treats, bottled water, and snacks too! Highly recommended!!! Thanks!!

Lynn and her family were a pleasure to meet and made my stay very enjoyable for me. I felt like a wanted family member the entire stay. I would gladly recommend her to anybody who enjoys warm welcomes, peace and quiet, and family atmosphere. A true gem in this world today!

The property was very quaint and as described. The owners absolutely go above and beyond with accommodations and Tennessee hospitality. I would recommend this rental and we plan to stay their again in the future.

From decorations to the nearest holiday, a face to face meet when you arrive, fresh baked goods in the kitchen, understanding why you’re in town so she can give you tips, to helping you unload. There’s a reason the ratings are so high!! This one is a must if you’re missing the Kingsport area!!

The Wright Place exceeded expectations. Kind and thoughtful hosts, a safe place and beautiful neighborhood in the city, but feels like you are in the country. Very quiet and clean. I will stay here again.

I had a very enjoyable stay at this cute little cottage! It was exactly as pictured - clean, comfortable, and inviting. The host, Lynn, met me when I arrived and kindly offered to help me get my things to the house. She was the consummate hostess! In the kitchen there were several scrumptious options for a quick breakfast along with a basket of snack bars. Thick fluffy towels, extra toiletries in case I'd forgotten something, candy kisses on my pillow, comfortable bedding, plenty of closet space for clothing, TV's upstairs and downstairs - everything I could think of and more was available. I was visiting family in the Preston Forest subdivision, and this little gem was only a few miles away! I would highly recommend this home, especially for a single person or a couple who would like to save a little money (compared to the prices of hotels in the area). Kudos to Lynn Wright and her family! The Wright Place was the right place for me!

I can’t even put into words how incredible our stay was at The Wright Place, but I will try! We drove up from Florida for our 5th anniversary with our 4 year old daughter. We were greeted by the host and her family who helped us carry our luggage into the cottage. It was absolutely perfect! Clean, cozy, warm, decorated for fall, stocked with SO MANY amenities, and even had snacks, coffee and breakfast pastries (muffins, bagels/cream cheese/cookies) and even hot cocoa and marshmallows for our little one. When we went upstairs to our bedroom they had left an anniversary gift and full-sized paw patrol stuffy for our daughter as welcome gifts. That evening they invited us to their house for dinner and we shared an amazing meal together. Please don’t book any other place if you want to feel like you’re staying with friends/family. This is the ONLY place we will stay when coming back to this area and now consider the Wright family as our own next of kin. Thank you so much for such a wonderful place to call our second home!

This cute cottage was clean, comfortable, well stocked and decorated for the season. The hostess went above & beyond to help us settle in & provided food & even some birthday surprises on my birthday! The Greenbelt Trail is nearby & we brought our bicycles, which we were given access to the garage to store them in during our visit. We had an excellent stay here & highly recommend!

We had a great time in Kingsport. Very nice community. Hiking was plentiful. Many nice restaurants to explore. Host and family were wonderful.

This is our second stay and once again it was excellent. Even though we had to last minute reschedule because of Hurricane Milton and we are from the Tampa Area, everyone was very accommodating to find another time and not lose any money. I highly recommend staying here if you are going to Eastern Tennessee. Very convenient to everything.

I can’t say enough about how lovely this cottage is turned out, it is absolutely beautiful, and equipped with every amenity you can think of, and I am being completely serious when I say that, the host has covered every base, twice. I had bagels, cream cheese and coffee waiting on me my first morning, and muffins for the rest of the week, I was left waters in the fridge, plenty of fluffy towels, and I was so pleased with the pillows, I’m a multi-pillow girl and I had enough pillows to make me happy. The water got hot, and stayed hot, the AC was perfect for the space, and the whole area was well-lit and easy to navigate. Lynn and especially Cayden were as charming and friendly as you could ever want, and Cayden’s puppy was as funny as he was cute, with his drunken sailor walk and floppy ears. Just really impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail that was obvious throughout the space. Thank you Lynn:)

Hospitality, generosity and quality! Lynn and husband are amazing hosts! As good of people as I’ve ever met. They provided a unique and excellent experience while being away from home. Beautiful cottage style accommodations that is extraordinarily clean and comfortable. Planning on being in the area again soon and wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else!

This is our 2nd stay at this cabin, we really enjoy the stay, so quite at night, the city hiking trails are walking distance from the cabin. Definitely will stay again on future visits to the city
