The WHITEHOUSE. Located at Kill Devil Hills on the Outer Banks of North Carolina

Cute cozy house with beautiful knotty pine wood through out,comfortable furniture. The porch with the rockers was nice too, we spent some time on their rocking and enjoying the roar of the ocean. Supplies are plenty for cooking. The access to the beach was perfect just across the street and down the dunes. The beach was beautiful and not crowded.

This is a nostalgic place for me and have enjoyed this cottage since I was a child. I am so happy that I now get to share it with my family. This is an amazing location and wonderful property owners. I appreciate everyone involved with this property and would recommend it to anyone who wants a real kill devil hills vacation.

We had a lovely stay at the Whitehouse. It was the perfect size for our family of 3. The location was perfect and the path to the beach was so close! We definitely will be back!

My sister, her friend and her daughter and I stayed in this quaint little cottage. The knotty pine walls throughout gave this historic house a great vibe. The path to the beach was across the road was an easy ascent and decent. Restaurants and other shopping are minutes away. The porch and rocking chairs were great for a late night star gazing. It is well equipped for your needs. The owner was fast at answering email when we had a small problem. We had a very relaxing time.

I loved the property! Old school charm, close beach access and cozy. There was kitchen supplies to cook meals, extra supplies if needed. There is also an outside shower to get the sand off! Recommended to those who enjoy the slow down of this hustle and bustle lifestyle.

Great location! The beach access is across the street and loved being so close to Awful Arthur’s and the fishing pier. The cottage is cute with lots of history. We used the porch rockers every morning. All 3 beds are full sized and comfortable. Kitchen and supplies are well stocked. Thank you to the White family for sharing your family beach cottage.

This quaint seaside cottage is a stone’s throw from a beautiful beach. The front porch is so inviting. The owners have added so many personal touches. We will be back soon!!

My wife and I rented this cottage almost 40 years ago. I am thankful for the chance to rent it again. I love the history of the cottage and the beach access across the street is awesome as well.

Wonderful family memories

The White House was the right size and very close to beach and pier access. It was so easy to come and go from the beach at all times of the day. The inside was cozy and comfortable and many quiet hours were also spent in the shade of the porch enjoying the breeze.

This trip was all about parking the car and leaving it for the week and this home is suitable for that. At night you can sit on the porch and hear the ocean. The ocean is literally across the street and wasn’t crowded when we ventured over to the beach. Hoping to come back in May 2025. Three trips to the OBX and Glenn is a great host and communicates clearly with you. There were people who slow down to take pictures of the home. They didn’t get out of the car but snapped a couple of pics and drove on. After staying here and communicating with Glenn I completely understand the appeal of the cottage.
