The Pink Cottage on beautiful Damariscotta Lake.

We rented this cottage last year fir one week. We loved our stay so much that this year we made it 2 weeks. We are already making plans for next year. Ellen and Wilder are great hosts. She has everything you need for your stay at the cottage.

Our family of 3 adults loved our stay at The Pink Cottage. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by our hosts, Ellen and Wilder. The property itself is beautifully maintained, clean, and equipped with all the amenities one could possibly need. The location is perfect, offering a peaceful environment while still being close to local shops and restaurants. We had 3 days of not-so-great weather but always found something to do without having to drive very far. We also took advantage of the dock for fishing, the kayaks, swimming in the lake, and just relaxing down by the water or on the deck. We loved having the lake right outside the back door and the beautiful view. Our hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, checking in periodically to make sure everything was OK. The attention to detail and personal touches were appreciated. Overall, our stay at The Pink Cottage exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway. We can’t wait to return!

Me, my husband, and our three kids stayed from June 30th through June 6th and we had an absolutely wonderful time. The cottage was spotless...I mean spotless! That is so important to me and I was not disappointed. It was equipped with just about everything you need for a great stay...from kitchenware to towels to kayaks and a canoe to wood for the firepit. There were fans and a portable air conditioner but we really didn't need anything because it was lovely and the perfect temperature with a great breeze so windows stayed open and we were quite comfortable. There are three bedrooms...a loft upstairs with two twin beds, a bedroom downstairs with two twin beds, and a bedroom with a queen size bed. Everyone was comfortable. The hostess met us at the cabin when we arrived and we were able to contact her to ask questions and she was very nice to talk to. The cabins is about ten minutes from town which had nice shops and restaurants. We had the best week. The property is lovely, the lake is clean as a whistle....no swampiness or anything like that. Cool aned clean and just a pleasure to swim in and kayak/canoe on. We heard loons at night and saw a giant eagle nest on the island across lake from the house. This place is a ten star and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay in Maine. There is only one bathroom but our family of five made it work. This place was great and we hope to return!

We had a great time at the Pink Cottage. Ellen was there to greet us when we arrived. She is a wonderful lady, told us the history of the cottage and area. The cottage has everything that you need. The fishing was good, small fish but they were biting. Didn't get to use the boats but it was nice that they were available.

Wonderful property, exceptionally clean, very accommodating hosts, terrific boat launch only 1/4 mile away, great fishing, nice boat dock, all the amenities including wi-fi, kayaks, swim dock and all on a beautiful pristine lake.

The cottage inside and out is perfect! The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and even rescued us when we had a “tire issue.” Sitting on their glassed in porch with a book and a cup of coffee was icing on the cake!

Everything was perfect, clean, organized accommodating. The hosts were so wonderful and they were available. The pink cottage was everything we wanted.

The pink cottages warm embrace and view of heaven out every window made our anniversary that much more spectacular. Ellen and Wilder were the perfect host’s. We had the truest Maine experience right at the cottage, deer, eagle, loons, bear sighting down by the church our friend the sunk and more fish then I have ever seen. Wonderful location, impeccably clean, terrific hosts, all the amenities, boat dock, public boat launch 1/4 mile away, fish and loons abound, would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We loved everything about this cottage inside and outside. It was a perfect home located right on the lake with a lovely lawn between the house and the lake to lounge in the sun when the sun moves off the deck. We enjoyed kayaking and looking for the bald eagle that lives on the Island just across the lake. Ellen, our host was delightful to talk to. We will rent here again!
