Stayed Jul 22, 2024My wife and I stayed here for a getaway in July. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Its charming character and ideal location to explore downtown Charlevoix were high points. There are a number of great restaurants and the beach within easy walking distance. We loved exploring the downtown shops, and bringing bags back to the property is easy as you shop due to its proximity to everything. The property is quite small, but there are a number of nice touches that enable very practical use of the smaller space. Me wife and I had more than enough space, and I think 3 people would be fine as well. The property had everything that we needed as far as dishes, towels, etc. Check in and check out were quick and easy. One important caveat is that I would not recommend this property for older people. The bed in the loft is only accessible by stairs that are close to a ladder. The day bed on the main level would work, but it is smaller for two. Also, we booked immediately before the Venetian Festival. The carnival rides were setup in the parking lot right next to the property. This could be either a plus or a minus depending on your preferences, so you may want to watch the city event calendar. This property is right in the downtown area. Overall, we loved this property and would likely book it again if we find ourselves in Charlevoix.

Stayed Oct 22, 2023The Loft in downtown Charlevoix was beautiful! Being centrally located to all the pubs, restaurants and shopping. Charlevoix is an amazing place to stay! Especially during the fall. The Loft was very clean and quiet. And the hot water was almost instant! A perfect spot to stay!
