Beautiful place!

This is by far one of the best rentals I have ever stayed in. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. My favorite part was the bath tub. It was great for a calm weekend anniversary getaway. The house was clean and the surrounding area was quiet and peaceful. The outdoor shower was so unique and a nice touch. I can absolutely see myself coming back here next time I need a peaceful getaway!

Words can never do justice for this cottage. You walk in and you are transported to Paris. Every little detail from decor to music to their version of Pont Des Arts. The tub and hammock for two, outside shower and outdoor lighted walkways. So much more! It took a very stressful life of ours and relaxed us. It seems strange to run to the mountains to go to Paris…but you have to experience this at least once. It is also close to many outdoor adventures and restaurants. Thank you for the gifts and the special memories. So much love & time has gone into creating this experience for their guests.

This is a lovely place for a couple to spend a few days reconnecting. When we arrived, we found a clean and stylish cabin with everything we needed for our two night trip. We highly recommend the French Secret.

This BEAUTIFUL Cottage was the most absolute perfect Getaway for me, my husband, and our fur babies. Thats not an exaggeration either! There is a slightly steep hike down to the cottage. The walkway is made from mulch that is outlined in rocks, ropes, and the most adorable string lights. It was like walking through a fairy forest or something magical. The cottage on the outside is so adorable. They have an outside shower, that honestly should have a privacy fence now due to the traffic on the other side of the little creek. I could see the potential for the romance with the outside shower, but not with the multiple cars driving by and the potential for possibly what looks like a pad for a cabin to be built in the view of the outside shower. Speaking of shower, that is the only one on this property. The claw foot tub does have a handle with a shower head though. Anyways, there is a cute and quaint place to sit beside the creek where you can grill out and lay in a two person hammock. As soon as you walk into the cottage, your jaw hits the floor with how romantic and beautifully done they made this cottage. Our minds were blown! The chandelier they have hanging over the bed is so beautiful, especially at night when the outside fairy lights are shining in and reflecting from it. The kitchen is small, but it is perfect for two people and had everything we could have needed or ask for! I am running out of characters, so really quick, this place is perfect! Highly recommend

Adorable cottage for two with a cozy but modern feel. Air works great, bed was super comfy, and there is plenty of space to lounge around and catch your breath. Located close enough to Blue Ridge to go if you want, but you’re not stuck in all the hubbub.

The little cottage was great. Only issue was the fire pit could not be used as the started was corroded. Host was easy to contact but he was unaware of the issue. The pine straw and leaves were very slippery down to the grill and fire pit. Other than these issues it was a great short vacay. Would stay there again.

This cottage was spectacular. We had the best time. It truly was a time for us to connect and just enjoy each other. It was so amazing that we asked to extend our stay and thankfully we were able too. When we weren't enjoying being in the cottage, we walked down to the fire pit where we relaxed by the stream that flows. Everything you need to enjoy your time there is ready and available. The owners were amazing from the moment we booked until we left. We will without a doubt be scheduling another visit

Very nice cabin to stay at but outside needs work walking down to the cabin. Very slick when it is raining. Inside is fantastic

We had a wonderful time staying here! The seclusion and time spent away from the tv/telephones was much needed. Unfortunately it rained during our trip so we were not able to make our way down to the fire pit, however, that gave us the chance to stay in and listen to the rain hit the roof and enjoy the inside scenery! It really helped us not think of anything except relax and decompress and enjoy ourselves.

What an absolute DREAM! If you're even considering booking this cabin, just do it! You will not be disappointed. Park at the top and follow the lovely string lights along a path that leads to the cabin. Outside you can enjoy the lock tree, an outdoor shower, fire pit and hammock by the creek. Inside, breathtaking! I couldn't get over the beautiful handmade bed, chandeliers and the clawfoot tub! They even had romantic french music playing! We just left yesterday and I can't wait to go back!

This was the most beautiful weekend getaway. My boyfriend and I ever had. Everything was so lovingly prepared and thought through. This is the best place for a couple in love to really focus on each other. If you come here to enjoy intimacy, love and peace. This is the place to come to.

The rental exudes charm, romance, and French style, adorned with thoughtful details such as antique chandeliers, a clawfoot soaking tub, a fully equipped kitchenette, and a bistro table laid with china for two. Spotlessly clean, cozy, and distinctive - this location is perfect for a romantic retreat or for a writer seeking an inspiring natural setting with a European vibe. An added bonus was the host's exceptional responsiveness and warmth. It truly is a hidden gem! I look forward to returning in the fall to experience the breathtaking scenery foliage.

This was a gem we found that was a unique and romantic trip for my wife and I. The details make it clear that every aspect was planned out and it immerses you into the French experience. We loved our stay here and plan on returning. FYI there is a walk down to the cabin that is downhill so be prepared to carry your baggage a little ways.

In short, this cabin was the perfect blend of cozy comfort and French flair—a magical escape that rekindled our love and gave us a much-needed break from the daily grind. We booked this cabin for my birthday. It was beautiful and something out of a movie. I highly recommend staying here the hosts were the sweetest and most kind people. During our stay we were snowed in and unable to leave, they allowed us extra time to be able to get out and it meant the world to us. Loved the cabin. Exactly like the pictures. The only thing I would add is that you have to walk down a path to get to it so if you have lots of luggage you have to carry it down a trail. make sure you get there before dark. but otherwise it was great.
