The location was perfect! It’s situated on Swan pond with a panoramic view. I couldn’t stop taking pictures.Steps from the loft, kayaked down Swan River to the ocean. Laurance our host was gracious and gave us great suggestions that made our vacation wonderful. The kitchen was well equipped. The loft was charming and perfect for two. Our golden retriever had a wonderful time playing with the host’s dog. Shadow was extremely well mannered.

The Loft was just fine, clean and easy to live in. Our dog Maggie and his dog Shadow got on so well. Larry is a great host. At the end we got hit with a strong Nor'easter, but that was OK since it was exciting! The Cape is beautiful in all its moods!

Attentive and helpful owner on site. Adequately equipped kitchen. Quiet and peaceful location yet convenient to services. Generous king bed and small auxillary bed.

Great location on swan pond. A belted kingfisher greeted us outside each day. Favorite activity was kayaking in the pond. It was just me and assorted birds, so peaceful. Laurence was an excellent host. We were there for birdwatching and it did not disappoint. The bed was super comfortable too!

Wonderful property manager, friendly, great with our Golden (Charlie). At the end of a peninsula, the best spot on this body of water. We kayaked and walked the connecting road. Easy drive access to eateries. The place is small and rustic which is fine for us, we have stayed in similar in USVI and at Whiteface Mt.This is a quaint little place, over a garage, at the end of a dirt road.

Perfect location with beautiful view! Appreciate being able to bring our 140 lb dog! Availability of SUP, kayaks and a canoe a definite bonus. The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Larry was amazing and so accommodating with all of our needs. The property is a perfect tranquil waterfront getaway. The cottage has a warm rustic charm. While it feels secluded its not far from anything. This cottage offers a peaceful haven that will leave you refreshed and rejuvenated. We highly recommend.

Myself and my dog Bonnie stayed for 3 nights and had the best time. The place was cute and cozy right on the water. All I could hear were birds and the breeze blowing in the trees. It was so relaxing. The owner and his dog Shadow were wonderful. Very friendly and now my dog has a new friend. Would definitely stay there again.

We felt like we were far away from everything but in 5 minutes by car we were at a shopping center and great restaurants. The boathouse loft was well appointed with everything we needed. The owner was welcoming to us and our dog. Amazing view of Swan Pond, a beautiful little salt water estuary we kayaked & paddle-boarded on. Easy access to multiple town beaches & the national seashore beaches! Loved our week-long stay & will be back.

Beautiful peaceful spot. Using Laurence’s kayaks to go down the river to the ocean beach was the highlight of the of the trip! Good location to restaurants and shopping. Our dogs loved playing with Shadow, Laurence’s wonderful pup. Our host gave us good recommendations and was available for any questions.

Exceptional location on Swan Lake. We enjoyed kayaking and biking every day. Our dog had a blast as well. Very gracious owner, gave us lots of good info.

We were looking for a low-key cottage with water access in a quiet location, and the Boathouse Loft met our needs perfectly! This property is beautiful and we loved looking out at the pond and kayaking on it. It's also a perfect location for bird watching, on the pond and at other sites just short drives away. Also very easy to drive to beaches on both the north and south shores of Dennis.There are numerous restaurants less than a 20 minute drive away, as well as grocery and drug stores, and pretty much anything else we needed.The cottage is comfortable and clean, albeit small - the perfect size for two. Kitchen appliances and wares were sufficient. We found the bed to be very comfortable, and the bedroom quite nice. TV and Wifi were readily accessible. The outdoor seating looked very good, although the weather was a bit too cool to take advantage of it.Laurance is a very responsive host who cares about the comfort and safety of his guests. He was very knowledgable about places and activities in the area, and was a friend in need when our car had a slowly leaking tire.We loved our vacation here and are looking forward to returning some day. The location is just that good!

Short and sweet

Wonderful stay. Wish we had an additional week! The “loft” views of Swan Pond, with the breezes filtering in, made even our simplest of meals an experience! Whether using the complementary watercraft on the Pond or sitting and reading (or napping) by the pond, the salt air relaxed the soul. Even a rainy day in that “loft” made one feel like a kid in a tree house. Laurence is a Primo host!! Five Star! So knowledgeable and friendly, not at all intrusive, but so helpful. Our elderly canine gentleman loved all the naps he got too.

The Boathouse is private, peaceful and has the most amazing views. Every necessity is thoughtfully provided by your charming host Laurence and his pal Shadow the puppy. Just wish we could have stayed longer!

This location is one of a kind and will charm the socks off of you. We stayed for a spell and left feeling rested and relaxed. A+

Loved the beautiful pond view and tranquil atmosphere. Nice patio overlooking the water and comfy interior. Near restaurants and lots of hiking trails. Laurance is a gracious and friendly host. We wished we'd booked a longer stay!

Awesome the views are spectacular, was greeted by Larry an his new pup shadow , who is so adorable , our pups loved it there . So relaxing easy to get around to different places on the cape definitely a 10 . Will be going back again

Great views of the pond. Perfect little spot for a getaway! We appreciated access to the kayaks and canoe to take advantage of Swan Pond and River. Owner was very kind and helpful throughout our stay.

It was perfect for our anniversary getaway. Close enough to things to do and far enough away to be quiet. Water sport gear was an awesome bonus.

Laurance's Vrbo is in the middle of the Cape--great distance from downtown areas, Ptown, and beaches! He is a wonderful host that gave a full run-down of the place, leaving no details missed! Lives right next door for any needs. Very detail oriented--e.g. complimentary water for hard water on the Cape and iron! Gave such wonderful recommendations and had the best time kayaking out on the water. Thank you so much! :)

Such a peaceful getaway! The king size bed was so comfortable and the views of the water was stunning!

The small but very comfortable lft of a boat house was perfect for my husband and myself, along with our small, well behaved dog. The kitchen was well- equipped, the bedroom had a comfortable king sized bed and there are water views on three sides. Our host provided us with information like dog friendly beaches and restaurants. We had a great time and hope to return. host hhelped

Laurance is very helpful and easy-going. He welcomed our dog, was quick to respond whenever we had a question, and never felt over-bearing or like he was prying while we were enjoying his home. The property has a small launch area for entering the water and ample space for hanging out. Our favorite feature of the boathouse is being able to look out over the water from almost anywhere in the house. The kitchen has everything you need, and Laurance has provided an outdoor grill. There were no issues with cleanliness in the house. There were also two AC units that help keep us comfortable inside. We hope to come back to visit soon, we absolutely enjoyed the boathouse and getting to know Laurance.

Had an amazing stay at the boat house loft. The location can't be beat. The view is incredible. Minutes to the beaches, bike trails and everything else. Kayaking the pond is a great option and lets you enjoy the plentiful waterfowl in the area. Perfect place for a couple. Only complaint would be the water pressure on the shower was low. A cozy place in a perfect location.

Enjoyed a beautiful two night stay on the banks of Swan Pond. Picturesque view with all the vacation necessities. Host is very communicative and accommodating. Would stay again!

A waterfront location equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Host Laurance is nearby and available when and if you need him, and invisible when you don't. Besides having a kitchen with most everything you'll need, and a bedroom with a large flat-screen TV, you will find lots of outdoors bonuses at no extra charge. You've got a BBQ with two propane tanks, seating and tables, a Zodiac rowboat, two kayaks and a standup paddle board. Centrally-located on the Cape, easy access to stores and restaurants, but otherwise a little paradise hideaway. Our dog loved it, and so did we!

Me, my partner and our dog really enjoyed our stay here! Laurance Is very kind, gave us a very thorough tour of the place in the amenities and some suggestions for things to do with our dog. The Dirt road to the place is not too bad at least when it's dry, probably any SUV or even a sedan with enough clearance should have zero issues with it. well we didn't get around to using any of the outdoor amenities besides the fireplace, it was nice to have them as an option in case we just wanted to stay and hang out at the place. But since we were there for just a weekend we prioritized getting to see lots of other places. We found the place pretty clean and comfortable and the ample windows and Pond views were very amazing and relaxing. This was a great find both for location and price and for having booked it basically two weeks before our trip when there was basically nothing else available within our price range . Would love to come back for a longer day!
