Stayed Sep 25, 2025Our stay at Manzanita Cottages was really nice! Check in was seamless, the landscaping is beautiful, great location. We came for my wife's fortieth.High school reunion and could not have chosen a better place to stay.

Stayed Mar 15, 2024I loved Laguna Beach. It was our first time visiting. We were celebrating my birthday. The cottage was what I was expecting: quiet, cozy, private and closed to the beach, stores and restaurants. I definitely recommend it. ?

Stayed Jun 25, 2023Loved our stay! We are originally from CA but moved away. We still need our beach fix every year and this little cottage was perfect for us. The cottage was well stocked and clean. The outside areas were beautiful and felt like home. Tucked away from the street, it’s nice and quiet. We will definitely return! Thanks so much!

Stayed Feb 5, 2023Charming small cottage in a great location. I could walk from the cottage to downtown Laguna Beach in 10 minutes. It did take me a little longer to walk back uphill.Everything in the cottage was in good working order. Parking is a challenge. Definitely would stay again on my next visit.

Stayed Aug 21, 2021This adorable cottage was everything I wanted and needed in a little home away from home. Such a relaxing little fairy tale secret garden tucked away in the beautiful Laguna surroundings. I loved everything about this place, only wish that I were still there. The only thing I wasn't prepared for was the stairs getting into the property. Other than that I can't wait to come back. I have so many people wanting to know the details about this place too. Thank you for such a beautiful place to stay. It was the perfect place for my beach getaway.

Stayed May 23, 2019We always love staying at any of the unique Manzanita Cottages. Neil, who was our contact for our rental, is always so attentive and accommodating every time we rent a cottage. The blue cottage is adorable and very comfortable. Yes, the bathroom is small but when it’s just two of you here for a vacation, it’s workable if you take turns getting ready. The living room, kitchen and bedroom offer plenty of room for two. The kitchen is stocked with basics, coffee, water, some condiments, plates, silverware, etc.... The location is perfect and you are about a 10 minute, if not less, walk to town. If you bring elderly guests or children with you, you might want to drop them off at the back entrance (school district office parking lot) to avoid the steep stairs at the main entrance on Manzanita road. The back entrance also has a code and there are no steps until you get into the garden area, but they are pretty easy to take and they are only a few at a time. The cottage was very clean, as always, and it was so quiet at night and in the early morning. The seating area outside was so peaceful and the gardens are full of pretty flowers. We will be back again!
