Stayed Oct 19, 2023We really enjoyed our stay the cottage is decorated in Margaritaville which is just up my alley very peaceful and nice to sit on balcony overlooking the water. Really hope to go there again next year. Owners are very attentive. Exactly what we needed thanks so much again.

Stayed Jun 16, 2023This is our second time staying at Fishful Thinking and we absolutely love it! Micki is so accommodating and helpful. We have stayed in both the top and now the bottom cabin and both are extremely well equipped, has all you need in the kitchen, comfortable beds and a beautiful dock to tie up your boat. We will be back!!

Stayed Apr 21, 2023We went to LA to visit the Angola Prison Rodeo (quite an adventure) and found this place. Sunrise was beautiful, place was nicely decorated and well stocked. Others have mentioned a bug issue - love bugs and gnats the first night at sunset, but otherwise we spent a lot of time on the deck and sitting by the fire pit. We ate at the Sandbar - good bar food and walkable. I would definitely recommend!

Stayed Apr 6, 2023Such a great set-up! We occupied both units for an Easter family gathering and it was perfect, in spite of the weather. Caught fish from the dock, enjoyed the boat rides, the crawfish boil was a big success….. everything we needed! Will definitely recommend this camp and look forward to staying again.
