Sweet 2 BR Cottage With Harbor Views, Walk To Downtown Southwest Harbor

Everything was perfect! We had a great time and can’t wait to come back.

Charming, homey, very clean, and well appointed. Host very responsive. Quiet neighborhood. Close to town of Southwest Harbor with some good restaurants.

House was adorable and in a great spot right off of the main road in southwest harbor. Tons of deer to watch in the morning right next door. Host was incredibly kind to us when we had some issues checking in. Would absolutely stay again

We loved the location in Southwest Harbor...good base for exploring Mt. Desert Island and Acadia. Clean and comfortable cottage. Walked to Upper Deck for dinner one night. Just a few miles to Bass Harbor and about 30 minutes to Bar Harbor and Hulls Cove Visitor Center where we picked up our e-bike rentals to explore the carriage roads in Acadia.

Great location for a quieter visit to Acadia. Staying on this side of the park area was perfect for us to escape the crowds at the end of the day. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for our family of four. Easy check in and out process.

Maria, our host, was fantastic with communication! The House was a comfortable open space for family to stretch out and relax in between the adventuring we did on MDI. The kitchen was open and easy for multiple folks to be in there working or grabbing something. The living room, was open and spread out for folks to not feel on top of each other. There was lots of light in from the large bay windows. The private lot felt more secluded than I would have expected in a neighborhood. Comfortable beds!!! The garage was perfect for storing all of the gear we drag along with us on family vacations! Super clean comfortable and relaxing! Exactly what was needed. I'd book here again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful place - great location, lovely host and simple charm. We loved coming home to our cottage after our Mt Desert adventures. Walkable to shops, restaurants and the Cranberry Island ferry. It was immaculate! We would highly recommend it.

I recently stayed for three nights with my two children (ages 11 and 13) and this cottage was absolutely perfect! Southwestern Harbor is a charming town farther away from the summertime crowds of Bar Harbor but still close to Acadia. The neighbors are quiet, and the shore is right across the street. The home is clean and beautiful - I could have sat for hours watching the bumblebees in the rhododendron bushes! The hosts are helpful and available. I would stay again any time!

Great location for a 3 night getaway. Super close to town and peeks of water views from the house. The house was SPOTLESS and Maria was super responsive throughout booking and check in process. I would def stay here again!

The cottage was beautiful, clean and cozy. Very near shops and restaurants of Southwest Harbor. About 30 min to most spots in Acadia and Bar Harbor. Would love to stay again!

We loved this little house and especially the location and proximity to Acadia. It was nice to get out of the crowds of Bar Harbor. It has great views of the water from the bedrooms and living room. Nice town with plenty of restaurant choices. I recommend!

Excellent location and comfortable, roomy home on the quiet side of MDI - so much to do and a wonderful launching point to do it. Great access to all the best lobster pounds and Acadia sights and hikes!!

My wife and I (and our small dog) had a wonderful trip and the house was just right. Cozy ,clean and close to everything in Acadia. Very quiet neighborhood, room for bikes and kayaks, 20 min walk to Southwest Harbor, lovely deck and yard. Highly recommend !

Inside of house was clean and comfortable with all the basics you need to use the kitchen. Maria was responsive to any questions we had. We had a few hot nights and there is only one small air conditioner in the main bedroom. .

The cottage was a perfect home base for our week on MDI. It’s quiet, well-stocked (we made dinner most nights), very comfortable, and perfectly situated for exploring the island. Communication with the owners was superb.
