Very nice stay from start to finish. We stayed two nights after a busy conference and the space was clean and tranquil, with a gorgeous stream to relax us.

Beautiful property and cottage on the Sawkill and only 2 minutes from the village of Woodstock. Bedroom has a three sided view of the stream.

Jane is a great host and provided great communication and very warm and thoughtful amenities at the cottage. We loved staying here! The bed is very comfortable, everything was clean, the decor felt like home, and the views of the woods and creek were excellent. Can't wait to come back.

Beautiful cottage with all the amenities you would need. Cabinets stocked with some basics like ground coffee, honey, spices, which was very appreciated. Beautiful outdoor spaces that would be great for summer evenings.

Great host, perfect location (close to town but tucked into the woods next to an amazing creek). Super clean and comfy place. Loved the foyer rug and the cotton sheets and bedcover!..wonder why most places use those weird microfiber synthetic fabrics?Peaceful and fun area, we had a great time skiing and hunting for antiques!

The view in the snow was absolutely gorgeous and the size of the accommodations was perfect!

The host, Jane, was super helpful. One thing that stood out about the place is waking up there, the bedroom as windows on all sides which you can only experience when you are there. In other words way better than the pictures. Every morning we made coffee and enjoyed it next to the creek. The rest of the days we enjoyed live music Colony (look for the open mic night) and of course had beautiful hikes.

Great stay. Excellent location with easy access to Woodstock and local hiking. Perfect getaway. Would definitely stay again, next time we’re in the area.

My husband and I stay at this home every year. It is beautiful and serene. You couldnt ask for a prettier spot to sit in nature in Autumn. The premises is always spotless and very comfortable.

This loveley cottage is exactly as it looks online. Relaxing by the stream was so peaceful and we saw local wildlife. Very close to Woodstock which is a cute town with lots of restaurants. We came up to visit Northlake State park which was 30 min away. Jane is also very nice host.

Where do we start? We wanted something comfortable and peaceful for a short getaway and the Streamside Cottage was beyond our expectations! First off, it was very clean but also so cute and charming. Plenty of space for the two of us. Each morning, we had a peaceful breakfast on the deck and enjoyed the sounds of the creek. Kitchen provided everything we needed (loved that it had a toaster oven). Enjoyed some beautiful sights at Kaaterskill Falls hiking trail close by. Also, walked under a mile to get to town--loved that! If you're considering staying here, don't hesitate. Thank you Jane for sharing your space with us!

We loved our stay in this lovely little cottage. It was very clean and well taken care of. Jane is a welcoming helpful host! We had very hot weather during our visit and appreciated the very efficient air conditioning after being out all day exploring the Hudson River Valley area. The cottage is convenient to downtown Woodstock and lots of eating places and shops. We hope to return again.Nancy & Wayne

Jane’s pristine cottage on a beautiful piece of land in Woodstock was amazing! Everything is described in the listing, excellent access to downtown Woodstock, and a perfectly appointed space for a long weekend. Would recommend to anyone visiting town!

Even with temperatures over 100 we were able to enjoy the stream, knowing the cool cabin awaited. Minutes from our show at Levon's. We'll be back.

I wish there were words adequate to describe just how wonderful Streamside cottage is!! The online description is spot on!! You couldn't get a nicer hostess than Jane. It was a great place to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary!! I guess the best way to sum up our stay - we can't wait to come back again!

Went to Bearsville Theatre for a show and stayed the weekend. Perfect cottage by the stream. It was quiet and peaceful. Nearby to the theatre and all the shops in town.

We were so very happy and relaxed staying at the cottage right on the water! Relaxing and beautiful and close to downtown (walking distance). Jane is an exceptional host - very friendly. OVERALL, EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC. IF I WANTED TO BE REAL PICKY...THE KITCHEN WAS SMALL EVENTHOUGH IT HAD ALMOST EVERYTHING AND THE TV WAS IN THE LIVINGROOM ONLY, NONE IN THE BEDROOM. WE WOLD DEFINATELY STAY THERE AGAIN.

The location is far enough away from highway and town that it is very quiet and peaceful. The house is well furnished and was very clean. Would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area.

Came to the cottage for some solitude and quiet between jobs. This was just what the doctor ordered. Close enough to town for easy access, but far enough away that it was always quiet and peaceful. Sitting in the chairs on the river was truly amazing. Jane was a fantastic host; would definitely recommend staying here, and would happily come back on my next trip to Woodstock.

We were visited by 2 deer each evening and there is a resident ground hog which we enjoyed, Being able to walk to town is a stretch of the truth as the road is busy with no walking path however it is a very short ride. We had 2 good meals in Allason restaurant and caffe coffee shop is superb. I just wish we had a king size bed and a bit larger of a shower. All in all a very nice cottage with a lovely stream and a lot of tranquility.

We were in town for an event at Levon Helm Studios, and because of the schedule for the rest of the week, we only booked the cottage for one night. That said, we both felt that we wished we could stay a while, a long while, like live there. The property is beautiful, and the cottage is immaculate and Jane has exceptional taste in how the cottage was built, and decorated. It is a beautiful, inviting space, If you are looking for a space to feel at peace with the world, this is it.

An absolutely wonderful streamside cottage so close to downtown Woodstock. The cottage was perfectly equipped and peaceful indoors and out. Jane is a wonderful host.
