There is also a bathroom with shower over bath, a kitchen and a living/dining room with woodburning stove. Outside there is off-road parking for 3 cars, as well as an enclosed patio and gravel garden with table and chairs, barbecue and a fire pit with seating. Stables Cottage is a lovely property for enjoying the countryside and coastline of Sussex. Note: the lounge furniture contains feather‑filled cushions

Scattered around Heathfield are several towns, villages and hamlets including Rushlake Green, with its picturesque village green and quaint pub serving excellent local food.
