What an absolute wonderful stay in the obx at this most beautiful home. Everything was regarding this home is above and beyond. Clean, comfortable, convenient. The host is extremely accommodating and very responsive if you do need to contact them. We really can’t say enough good things about our stay here. There isn’t an uncomfortable seat in this exceptional home. Also, the beds are so SO comfortable!! Can’t thank them enough for sharing their lovely beach house.

We absolutely loved this house. It was perfect for both families staying together. We loved having our own pool to come back to after a long day at the beach. The kids loved the arcade games. We don’t make it down to OBX every year, but we definitely would come back and stay here again!

Tony and Shannon have a beautiful beach house. Everything was consistent with the listing. We had a great visit and will look this property up again when we return to OBX for hang gliding...hopefully we will have bet luck with the wind. Their house has all the right touches. Games, hot tub, nice fenced yard for the dogs. Pool looks awesome, but was closed for the season. Perfectly clean. He had no issues during our stay. This was our families 10th year traveling to OBX. This was by far our best stay yet! House was extremely clean. Fully stocked kitchen- high chair, pack n play, and jogging stroller if you are traveling with a little one. I am usually very hesitant about using these things in a rental home but they were all extremely clean. The beds were so comfortable and the sound machines were a huge hit with the kids. The pool was clean and was perfect size for what we needed. Beach is not in walking distance but only a short drive which is clearly stated in the description of the house. Our boys loved that they were in walking distance to the arcade and go karts. Since we travel to OBX yearly we like to stay at different places each year. However this house will be tough to beat and we will most definitely be back!! Dont hesistate to book this rental.

Overall the the house was nice with a few minor cleaning and maintenance concerns. The outdoor pool, hot tub, gas fire pit and outdoor spaces were amazing except for the fire ants in the backyard. Nice quiet neighborhood, close to everything except the beach. Need to drive to public access and parking or make a long hot hike across a very busy 4 lane highway. A bit overpriced for that reason but other than that, a comfortable, well equipped beach house for a family vacation.

From the location to the genrosity and responsiveness of the host, Somewhere on the Beach is perfect. My wife and my three kids enjoyed our week long stay so much that we plan on renting again next year. If you are looking for a great place to stay on OBX, look no further, Somewhere on the Beach is it!

We had a long weekend here with family, and the house was absolutely perfect. The outdoors spaces are so accommodating, and our kids were always entertained when we were not on the beach. The beds are comfortable, and everything is very well stocked. I highly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

We had family visiting from out of state and although the weather was not in our favor the home sure was! So cozy and had everything we needed right there. The amenities and complementary items were above and beyond. Made our stay fantastic!

My wife, dog, and I headed down to this cottage for a relaxing vacation in the Outer Banks and were blown away. The house is beautiful, walking distance from restaurants, putt putt and the beach, and had probably the best amenities I've ever seen. Between the private pool, hot tub, horseshoes, game room, grills - we really never felt a reason to leave the house. I would highly recommend and will definitely be returning the next chance I get. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. Excellent host as well, very clear in communications and professional.

It was a really nice house. Great location and very clean. The property manager responded to our questions fast and fixed the problem. I would recommend this property to anyone.
