Side-by-side lakefront cottages! Outdoor space galore!

I almost don't want to say too much about this amazing spot because it is a well kept secret. The view is nothing short of spectacular. It was absolutely perfect for our family in offering an expanse of landscaped green lawn right on the lake.. perfect for family corn hole and bocce games. The owners Saralinda and Marianne were so accommodating. If we wanted to rig the sailboat, or ask them to take a family photo....They were immediately available. Tennis, pickleball, a picnic table that could seat 12, a hammock for nodding off, both the kayak and the rowboat accompanied us on our swim across the lake. It even had a Baby Grand for me to play and a lazyboy for my sister. A perfect backdrop to a memorable family reunion! Thank you!

Great space for a big family

Beautiful property! We loved the privacy, all the outdoor space, and the swing! We had a relaxing week!

The cottages were a perfect fit for our family get-together in the Finger Lakes. We had 8 adults and two young children. Everyone had comfortable sleeping arrangements, bathrooms were adequate, and the kitchens were well equipped for putting together family meals. There's a large table on the porch of Gram's cottage where we enjoyed our evening dinners. Our hosts provided us with an orientation to the property and kept in touch with us throughout our stay. Any questions or concerns that we had were addressed promptly. The location on Canandaigua Lake provides a gorgeous view of the lake. The property has a large lawn area between the cottages that our grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed. There are so many nice areas to hang out, including a rope hammock that the children enjoyed sharing with an adult. Access to the water is easy and there is a large shallow area near the shore that is perfect for playtime in the lake. The hosts provide a kayak and a canoe, and life jackets in a variety of sizes. The kayak was very popular with our family and was used everyday; sometimes multiple times during the day. When searching VRBO, the cottages appeared to be exactly what I was looking for. I was not disappointed!

My siblings and our families came together to celebrate our parents 80th birthday's - we could not have asked for a better location. We enjoyed the use of Gram's Cottage, the Stone House and chose to rent the Little House as extra space for our college age kids. It was a beautiful, private retreat with plenty of communal space for games, star gazing, and enjoying the spectacular lake views. Each of the houses were well appointed and we appreciate having many of the everyday items on hand. Best of all, it was a bit of a step back in time and I was actually thankful my cell service provider was hit or miss - although we weren't far from home, we felt off the grid which made for an incredibly relaxing get away. The Hooker family was very communicative and did everything possible to ensure our stay went well. We certainly look forward to returning to this lovely property.

Fantastic setting with incredible view. The kitchen in the main house is small and the house is a bit dated but acceptable for a weekly rental. Owners are very friendly and helpful.

You cannot beat the location of these lakefront homes! They have their own dock and the most spectacular views. Well appointed cottages. Smart TVs with Roku and Netflix. Fans in all the rooms; even during a hot August week slept wonderfully. Such helpful, gracious hosts. Hope to stay here again.

Lots to do in the area and within an hours drive. Be sure to hike the gorge at Watkins Glenn - Hike to the top a ride down.

The setting is wonderful. The views are out of this world. We had 8 adults and three small children. The two houses on the property are older, and rustic, but provide space for everyone to come together, or to do their own thing, as they pleased. We all ate dinner together, every night, on the porch in Gram's cottage. The weather was terrible, except for the last two full days, which were spectacular, and we all had fun, in and out of the lake, on all seven days. There is lots to do on the property, and in the surrounding area. EVERYONE HAD A GREAT TIME!

The two cottages have a large lawn area between them and wide waterfront including an opening where boats/kyaks can be launched. The waterfront has a large shade tree which makes sitting by the water delightful. What we loved is that the property is so private due to it's size. We hardly saw any neighbors the whole week. Swimming was great but beach is shale and water shoes are helpful. Fire pit by the water was used and made several evenings special. Cottages are old (1948 and 1970) but well maintained and one has a screened porch where 10-12 people can dine at a large table. We loved our week and will be back!!
