Semi-Oceanfront Gem in the Heart of KDH - Steps to Beach, Dining & Dog Friendly!

We had a fantastic experience at this rental! The house was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described—maybe even better. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, including a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of space to unwind. The location was perfect—close to the beach, great restaurants, and local attractions, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. The hosts were responsive and thoughtful, making check-in and communication seamless. We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful long weekend at Annette’s property. She was very easy to communicate with, and the house was just like the photos. Very comfortable - everything we needed. Super close to beach access. Great restaurants nearby: Food Dudes, Surfin’ Spoons, Nags Head Pizza Co. Would gladly stay again and highly recommend!

The weather was amazing!! Love this time of year when it’s not too crowded. Booked the house for the location, semi-ocean view and that it had great reviews so I was somewhat dismayed by a few things. The house is on an extremely loud road, even for off season. It would be to have a back yard option with some nice Adirondack chairs, maybe a fire pit and even a small deck. I hadn’t thought about having to climb the stairs so often but since the kitchen is on the top floor it made for quite the leg workout! The kitchen was well equipped. Had a small issue with the refrigerator and the cabinets could use some WD-40. The fan on the second floor did not work and the lighting in the bedrooms is very dim. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Hopefully the owners addressed some issues with stains on the rugs, couches and beds. They were very responsive when we let them know our concerns.

We had a great time! The house had plenty of room for our family of 4 and medium sized dog. Everything worked well and was easy to access.

We had a great weekend stay at this property. Walk to beach was short and easy. Property was very clean, nicely decorated and in a great location. Kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. Loved the decks. Will return here when visiting KDH again.

This home was perfect in every way! From being stocked with dishes, glassware, pots, pans, many utensils and Kitchen Appliances. The beach access was across the street. Beach chairs and a wagon were also available. My boys loved the outdoor shower and their “private deck” on their floor. Board games and cornhole were a hit! Lots to walk to! You can’t go wrong with this place! Will be back, thanks!

Great location across from public beach access and we loved the ease of going to the restaurant next door. It's really well stocked in the kitchen and even had some chairs and a wagon we could use on the beach! Would absolutely stay again.
