Stayed Mar 21, 2025We all really enjoyed our stay. Up early each morning to see the garden wildlife, fox, hares, squirrels, pheasants, woodpecker and lots of finches.Great cottage with all that you need, only downside was the third bedroom which is better suited for children than adults, mezzanine area.Fraser and Bridget lovely and very welcoming.We certainly will visit again to explore this beautiful area.

Stayed Mar 13, 2025Just as it looked on the photographs. A lovely big garden with play area for our granddaughters. Spacious bedrooms with a twin room upstairs which the girls found exciting. Three separate seating areas, one of which was the sunroom with great views south and lots of seating and woolly blankets. Games and books for children and adults. There was nothing lacking and everything was done thoughtfully and to a high standard. The hosts lived in their own house about thirty yards away which we found reassuring given the fact we were quite naturally unfamiliar with some things. They were welcoming and friendly. We had to ask for help with one minor process and the lady came over immediately and showed us what to do. The kitchen was well stocked and there was a very good supply of nespresso coffee which pleased our son. We were very happy with our stay - but it wasn't long enough!
