Stayed Sep 6, 2025Property was easy to find and centrally located. Home was clean and well stocked with all the essentials you would need. I loved sitting on the deck and watching the wildlife.

Stayed Jun 29, 2025The home was perfect for our family group of 6. Plenty of space, cooking equipment, great back deck with grill. Close to southwest Harbor and not far from Bar Harbor and Acadia. Much quieter than Bar Harbor.

Stayed Oct 5, 2024Very spacious and clean. Kitchen stocked with every utensil you could possibly need. Close proximity to Acadia and just 25 min. from downtown Bar Harbor. Beds were on the firmer side but comfortable. Lots of windows and natural light. Darkening shades in bedrooms were a nice option. Highly recommend!

Stayed Sep 15, 2024Very well equipped house. High quality dishwasher and barbecue. We did not have time to make use of all the space that was available. Plenty of crockery and plates. But, like so many vacation rentals, there are more spaces for sleeping than there are places to sit at a dining table. Be aware this house is available via other agents at lower cost. (Am I allowed to say this without being censored?)

Stayed Sep 19, 2024Wished we had more time there rather than just 4 nights. The house had more room than we anticipated and had everything we needed. The location was within a short drive to everything we wanted to do ... would definitely book again on our next trip back to Mount Desert Island

May would have felt crowded if any more people Staying in B&B for past 20 years, all around world. First time was asked 500 dollars deposit for damage, was really surprised. But well , it’s owners decision. Guess they may have unpleasant experience in past

Stayed Aug 28, 2024House was perfect for our time visiting the area. The house was very clean, cozy and spacious with amenities that made our stay very comfortable and easy. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood with an easy drive to National Acadia Park and Bar Harbor. Also very close to SW Harbor which made it easy for last minute food options! Would definitely come back for our next visit!

Stayed Jun 22, 2024The house is fantastic, extremely clean, and lots of thought went into everything the house owners provided. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you’ll need to prep an easy meal or a complete feast for a large family. The property managers are very pleasant, responsive, and provide you with great details about your trip. It is a surprisingly large home so there’s lot of space for your family or guests. The location in Southwest Harbor is great as there’s lots to do nearby and Bar Harbor was only a 20 minute drive. We spent most of our days during our visit exploring the island while utilizing the house as our central base. Overall, we were so pleased with the cleanliness, house offerings, amenities, and comfortability. I highly recommend this property and you won’t be disappointed!
