Stayed Oct 24, 2025What a great start to our Irish vacation. Once we found the place (hint: use the eircode), It was so easy to get settled and comfortable. The hosts are nearby and are VERY accomodating. I cannot state enough about the hospitality that they showed us in our visit. I would recommend the stay if you are planning to be around Letterkenny and are touring the northwest!

Stayed Dec 21, 2025Everything was perfect and magical and exactly as we'd hoped. We were welcomed by mince pies and chocolate and a cottage all lit up with fairy lights for Christmas, and felt just as warmly welcome throughout our week there. Anne and Willie are so kind and generous, even to the point of Willie driving my son up to a trailhead on Christmas morning because it was hard to find. The cottage is quaint and charming and has the delicious ambience of the traditional 200 year old stone cottage that it is - and yet is also warm and cosy, with heated floors and a fireplace that is really easy to use. The massive freestanding tub upstairs was lovely, tucked under a window with glorious views. Everything we needed was there, from kitchen items to books to toiletries. The beds are comfy, there are two bathrooms (the ensuite one has a huge shower) and the location can't be beat - in the countryside that is so quiet you can hear yourself breathe, with zero light pollution, so the stars at night are spectacular. Views of fields and sheep out every window, with mountains in the distance. A 7-minute drive to the Glenveagh National Park, which blew us away. 20 minutes to the big town of Letterkenny. And we explored everywhere - even with only short winter days we managed to visit many different spots on different coastlines. I can't imagine how our stay could have been better. It was all we'd hoped for, and more. This cottage is a little piece of Donegal heaven. Thank you so much, Anne and Willie

Stayed Sep 30, 2025Robin cottage was lovely and charming. We were very comfortable. Google directions were a little off but as it had us drive right past the cottage we were able to find it.

Stayed May 30, 2025Finding the cottage was a challenge for gps but on arrival a spacious well equipped cottage with a beautiful deep tub after several days on the road was a real treat.

Stayed Jul 21, 2024The cottage has been updated really well to make it comfortable. There were three of us so had plenty of space. The views from upstairs are gorgeous, and there are great walks to be had in the area.

Stayed Jun 28, 2024We liked our stay very much. It was not as clean as it should have been (floor, cutlery, kitchenware), but that was more a small nuisance than a real fault. The cottage is cosy and situated excellently for visits in the Glenveagh National Park and hikes in Donegal. Thank you!

Stayed Jun 16, 2024Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location for sightseeing all around County Donegal! We saw it all Sleive League Cliffs, Donegal Town, Glenveagh Castle, Fanad Lighthouse, Derry, Malin Head, and everything else in between. Anne was a gracious and attentive host. We had all we needed including a warm cottage and plenty of warm showers at the end of a few cool and wet early summer days. Can’t wait to come back

Stayed Oct 29, 2022We stayed two nights in this cottage and even though the weather wasn't great we really enjoyed our stay in this cottage. The underfloor heating makes this cottage so cosy. It has been lovingly restored and has all you need for a comfortable stay. Would highly recommend, eateries near by and a lively pub within walking distance.
