Great little cottage tucked away from the street. May have been small, but it felt roomy. Great kitchen set up and very clean. Nice digs.We pretty much walked everywhere we wanted to go. The neighborhood is very charming and felt very safe. Parking was spotty. There is EV charging in the driveway but looks like it’s for communal, first come first serve use. No worries. We parked our gas guzzler in the street.

The place is as advertised. Love the location. Stumptown is right around the corner, with plenty of restaurants nearby. We didnt need to use the car much. The owners were attentive and flexible. We were able to get an early check in, and a later check out. When visiting Portland again, will definitely look to rebook.

We had a wonderful stay in this cottage house. The location is so convenient and charming - walking distance to Laurelhurt Park and Hawthorne's shopping area, a short drive to Division, convenient to downtown Portland's business district and close to groceries and sights. Dan is a hospitable and responsive host. Portland had some incredibly sunny days and when the sunlight was preventing my kids from sleeping and waking them up way too early, he was open and willing to help McGyver a solution with some dark sheets and blue tape! The cottage is well appointed and comfortable with two bedrooms and a bath upstairs and living and kitchen on the ground floor. Check in and check out were easy. WiFi was fast. Would recommend to friends and would stay again!

We spent 6 nights in the 2-story unit behind the owner's home. The owner Dan was responsive and helpful, although there were no issues once we figured out how to use the TV and HVAC system. This unit would be perfect for a small family (with one child or 2 children of the same sex) and possibly 2 couples if willing to share one full bath. The 1/2 bath on the first floor is a real bonus. The bedrooms' head space is a little tight on the outside wall but note I am 6'5. All in all we were very pleased with our stay. The neighborhood is quiet and there are plenty of attractions/amenities within walking distance. The only negative was the walkway to the unit is not a full sidewalk so you pretty much have to carry your luggage from the front walk area.

This was one of our favorite places that we've stayed. It's not large but it's a great use of space. Our family of four spent a great long weekend there. Stylish and clean, great location in the city, and easy check-in/communication. Highly recommend.

The eco-cottage was the perfect spot to land for my week-long visit in Portland. It is conveniently-located and within walking distance to fabulous restaurants, coffee shops, and other attractions that make Portland unique. The cottage feels so warm and homey, with lots of windows and beautiful wood and artwork throughout. We had everything we could have ever wanted/needed and we had excellent communication from our hosts. From our early arrival to our late departure, Dan went out of his way to accommodate our special requests and make our trip more enjoyable than we could have imagined. We especially loved the flowers and cherry tomatoes (so yuymmy!) that grew in front of the main house. I would highly recommend this place!

House is very nice, accurately described in the listing. Full kitchen with dining room table, small tv watching area with a couch, half bath, all downstairs. Upstairs a full bath and one bigger bedroom, one smaller bedroom. Large closets. Nice wood finishes. Washer/Dryer upstairs. Owners very friendly but not intrusive. Location is perfect, just a few blocks from eating/drinking/shopping areas, short drive from airport. No outdoor space if you require that, we did not. Would stay in this house again without hesitation.
