The place and the amenities were AMAZINGLY NICE!!!! Kathy was very responsive. The four of us felt like valued family members. We have family history in both Ludington and Pentwater so it was a perfect location. Plenty of restaurants and Ice Cream in Ludington especially.

Beautiful place!

What a beautiful home! We came to visit our granddaughter and wanted a place on the lake. This home has everything and top notch hosts. The beds were comfortable and everything was so clean! Great communication. So many amenities! I will absolutely be back.

We visited in the off season and had a delightful stay! The home was beautiful and comfortable. The scenery was outstanding with gorgeous sunsets. HIGHLY recommend this place!

This Pentwater cottage was perfect for our family's Thanksgiving visit. It is clean with beautiful remodeling. We appreciate that it is so close to the lake. The host is welcoming and responded to our questions in a timely manner. Five stars is well deserved.

We had a wonderful weekend staying at Pure Pentwater. The house is very clean and well maintained and had everything we could have needed. The kids toys were an awesome surprise for our family and we used them all a lot. The lake is beautiful and the sunsets were gorgeous. We hope to return again someday.

This is a lovely cottage on Bass Lake. The view was beautiful as is the cottage. The hostess was very responsive to questions. We were greeted with a basket of snacks, a bottle of wine and a few other beverages. The place had everything we needed and more. Would absolutely recommend booking this place for anyone wishing to visit the Pentwater (MI) area!

Such an amazing place to stay with beautiful views and a very peaceful setting. The house was so nicely updated, clean, and had all of the amenities we needed (including toys that the toddlers absolutely loved). We’d love to stay here again!

Loved it!!

The cottage was the perfect size for us. Watched sunsets on the deck almost every night. We were so impressed with how well appointed the place was. Plus a welcome basket of goodies! We loved that we could rent a kayak for the week as well as a pontoon boat for a day from Ferwerdas across the lake. The owners also clued us in on a great beach nearby that we loved. Location was perfect for getting to Pentwater as well as Silver lake.Thanks for a great week!

My dad, husband and my brother’s family stayed at the Pure Pentwater cottage. The cottage was not only in a perfect location (close to Lake Michigan beaches, downtown Pentwater, Ludington and Silver Lake) but the home itself was so cozy and comfortable. Bass lake was perfect. Warm shallow water with sandy bottom and the best part is the ability to kayak through the outlet which opens up to Lake Michigan. The cottage was beautifully decorated, well equipped and super clean. We were so comfortable. We had such a wonderful stay and the neighbors and community are super nice.

The home was clean and set up well for our arrival, even small details were taken care of. It was a great stay as promised!

This was an excellent place to stay for the week. Honestly, I think it was the nicest VRBO I've stayed at for the similar cost. It was a week away from the grind with my husband, and 3 adult children, and one spouse. The boys caught fish of decent size from the dock and also from out boat, and absolutely loved it. The girls kicked back and shopped in adorable Pentwater, read and got some sun. We all enjoyed the fire pit for smores as well. The cleanliness and extras (TP, napkins, ketchup, wine!) were just such a welcoming touch and the decor was well done and modern. Communication with the owner was fabulous. My kids are already asking to come back!

Beautiful location. Beautiful home. And all the extras i.e chargers in all the rooms, Welcome snacks and having all we could need and more. We had a great time and will stay here again.

This was our first time staying at this property, and it was AMAZING! It was very clean, had so many amenities, looked exactly like the photos, and the location was great. The host was very kind and answered any and all questions that we had. Looking forward to coming back to Pentwater and staying at this property. I can’t say enough great things about the host and property!

Three of us guys got together at this property to enjoy the local Michigan area. The home is beautiful with incredible amenities. The hosts are wonderful and very easy to work with. The local area has plenty of activities for all ages and there are plenty of games at the property as well to play.

This place is the best. Location couldn’t be better for me as my parents had a place on bass lake years ago and this brought back all those great memories. This is my happy place

This property is awesome. Very nice, clean, and comfortable, with an awesome lakefront location on beautiful Bass Lake.

Kathryn was a fantastic host. She was quick to respond and took the time during our trip to check-in to ensure we were enjoying our stay. The home was cozy and offered a great view of the lake and sunsets. It is conveniently located to all the activities in the area. Having worked in the hotel industry, there is a fine attention to detail from cleanliness, decor, snacks to kitchen items. We will look to stay here when we return to Pentwater.

Great property, great weekend

Very clean, very quiet, very nice. Had all the amenities needed to cook, relax and enjoy. The beds were comfortable ( although I like a softer pillow ) and the whole decor was pleasing. The weather was typical of early November, rainy and windy, loved looking out the windows at the lake. The one warm ish non rainy afternoon , we spent on the comfy deck. All in all a place we would happily return to.

One of the best rentals we have ever had! Beautiful cottage on a nice sized inland lake. The cottage was in excellent condition. We couldn’t ask for better hosts. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. There were so many nice touches from Kathy that made us feel so welcome! We will be back in the summer!

We absolutely loved our stay at Pentwater cottage. It was beautifully appointed and we felt right at home the minute we walked in the door. Cathy was so very helpful with questions that we had before our trip. The area has lots of fun things to do. We enjoyed live music at a local winery, shopping in downtown Pentwater and (the highlight) the amazing sunrise at the hidden gem beach. It really was an amazing long weekend to celebrate my daughter’s 25th birthday with close friends and family. Highly recommend!!

The house and property are wonderful, just as described and pictured. So many personal touches from the host made the stay extra nice. We chose this listing for the location as we were in town to attend the Cooper Allen concert at the venue Stix in Ludington. It was a quick, easy drive and we all highly recommend it! The food is amazing and they even have a bowling alley for family fun. We were blessed with the most gorgeous weather, low 80’s and sunny everyday and enjoyed walking around downtown Ludington and spending a day at Stearns beach as well as shopping in downtown Pentwater. The best part was relaxing and enjoying time at the Pure Pentwater Cottage. We floated, kayaked, soaked up the beautiful views by the water and had a great time playing ping pong! We did experience a couple “bumps” in our stay however the host Kathy contacted a service repair person quickly and kept us updated on the status consistently. This did not take away from having an amazing time and we appreciated Kathy’s efforts. We definitely look forward to returning and can’t wait to see the area in the cooler months!

Simply could not get enough of the view across Bass Lake! Loved it from sunrise to the amazing sunsets. It checked all the boxes for us including comfortable beds, convenient access to restaurants, complete kitchen, and enough room for morning Yoga. Clean with designer touches and thoughtful amenities. Definitely worth the 5 stars!

We felt so welcome with the snacks and drinks available when we first arrived. Pentwater is in the middle of lots to do! We loved the quiet nature of the house but appreciated being close to lots of things! Perfect for what we were looking for! The host was quick to respond with any questions and we loved getting to know the sweet neighbors to the right of the house! It was the perfect getaway!

We booked our stay with our daughters and their families to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We booked the property based on the space, location and the beautiful interior and exterior spaces. We were thrilled as soon as we arrived and enjoyed the home, yard and lake every single day and evening. Our hosts clearly thought of all the details-extra coffee pods, lots of towels, ample cooking utensils, the list goes on. The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable and the paddle boat and kayak were used and enjoyed by our whole crew from eldest to our two year old grandson. We brought our small boat and used it on the lake for fishing, Tubing and sunset cruise's. We would highly recommend a stay At Pure Pentwater Cottage!
