This family-owned, 4-bedroom/4-bathroom home is located between the lobster fishing villages of Port Clyde and Tenants Harbor in Midcoast Maine. The house and property are totally private, facing South and East, right smack on the banks of the Atlantic Ocean. It has a large lawn that slopes gently from the house to its private ocean frontage. There are steps down to the ocean where you will find huge, wide, flat gentle rocks with tide pools nestled in between.

Plus, find a bonus screen house right next to the ocean -- a perfect place to enjoy a sunset dinner or take a nap as the ocean lulls you to sleep!

Windfall is a family-owned home, and has been in the Henderson hands since the 1970s! We are thrilled to welcome your family to this piece of paradise.

The Windfall house has a total of four bedrooms and four bathrooms. The second floor has three bedrooms and three full bathrooms each with a tub and shower. The main floor of the house features a living room with a fireplace, a dining room, a kitchen, an office, a laundry room, the fourth full bathroom with a shower, and a single bedroom. This house has two TVs, a gas grill, ample outdoor furniture, a gazebo/screened-in house with comfortable furniture right next to the ocean, and badminton, croquet, bocce ball, and whiffle ball! We found this house after looking for months. It was a new listing and I normally don't go for them but the price and size of this house made me take the chance. We were thrilled! Lovely owners and caretaker who let us come early to get ahead of a hurricane, brought us extra firewood and flashlights, helped us find a local dog sitter, etc., etc. When you rent this house you are dealing with a family, not a corporate owner. They use and love this house and it is important to them that their guests do as well. It is huge and the large picture windows with lots of seating, make it so special. If you love the old Maine charm and are willing to embrace that aesthetic, this is your place. Four bedrooms, four bathrooms, every amenity you could want - washer/dryer, dishwasher, grill, and one of the most well stocked kitchens ever. We always bring a few things - knives, basic spices, etc. and I didn't need to, everything is here - every pot, pan, utensil, and knives you could want. They also have many games and puzzles and a super lawn with stairs down to the beach. If you have any questions about this house before renting, reach out to the owners, they will help you and are super responsive and accommodating.
