Stayed Jul 18, 2025Lovely location. Quiet and tranquil but within easy reach of places we wanted to visit. Our teenage granddaughters loved their holiday, everything we did and the cottage. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped and i would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

Stayed Jun 9, 2025A comfortable well presented holiday let with all the amenities you could need in an idilic tranquil setting, ideal for those who want an out of the way quiet relaxing time.Lots of wildlife around, red squirrels , rabbits , geese and an abundance of birds.A shame it did not have a tv but we watched everything we wanted on a laptop, although the Wi Fi is good I took a cable and connected direct to the router.Not the place to stay if you want to walk to restaurants or pubs! it is however in a good location to reach anywhere on the island within half an hour, the island roads are not for the faint hearted driver, can be very narrow!We would definitely book to stay again.

Stayed Jun 2, 2025We had a great holiday here. Communication beforehand and when we arrived was perfect, self check-in was simple and everything was exactly as we hoped for. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed being able to sit out on the patio to watch the wildlife on the pond. The cottage is well placed to explore the Isle of Wight, with nothing more than half an hour or so away.

Stayed May 7, 2025Peaceful country cottage. Very comfortable. Really enjoyed quietly watching the wildlife and the sunsets from the patio. A perfect retreat from which to explore the whole island.

Stayed Sep 23, 2024The property was great and a good spot to stay and visit areas around the island! There was plenty of parking and easily found when you follow the instructions. All instructions were clear and Juliet was a great host and contactable when needed. Wi Fi was great and there was a small selection of games to use. The kitchen is fairly well equipped (no microwave) but worked well. Heating was great and there was always plenty of hot water for the showers. A lovely host and great location and a definite use again if we are over on the island!

Stayed May 6, 2024If your looking for a quiet retreat then you would find it here. Lovely countryside and a lot of wildlife to view from the cottage. The cottage itself is well equipped with everything you would need but we felt a microwave would have been a good addition. In the listing it stated there was a hot tub but we didn’t see it or have information on it. Overall it was a lovely place to stay.

Stayed Jun 19, 2023Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in a quiet setting with plenty of bird life to watch (as well as the red squirrels). The cottage was well equipped with all we could need although an oven glove would be a useful addition.

Stayed Jun 16, 2023Lovely accommodation. Clean and nicely furnished, with everything you need. Comfy beds. Very quiet. Perfect location as a base. Owner communication was friendly and extremely efficient. Will definitely choose as a place to stay when I visit the island again.
