Orchard Cottage is ideally located in Ventnor sleeping up to 5 guests. Nestled at the end of a secluded lane, this much-loved family holiday cottage enjoys a quiet and peaceful location with just a few minutes’ walk to shops, restaurants, and beach. This lovely character property comprises of an open plan kitchen and dining room extension with a stunning vaulted ceiling, as well as a spacious lounge and downstairs cloakroom. On the first floor there are three bedrooms comprising of double bedroom, twin bedroom, single bedroom with a desk and workspace, and family bathroom. Outside you have a garden to the front with garden furniture for alfresco dining or a relaxing drink at the end of a busy day.

LOCATION:



The cottage has a private parking space in front and is brilliantly located for all that Ventnor offers with its variety of shops, restaurants, cafes, and bars. From The Esplanade you can take the level walk, along the sea wall to Bonchurch, or walk along the cliff path towards Steephill Cove, a beautiful, sheltered bay only accessed by foot. A further walk will take you to the Ventnor Botanic Garden which lies in the remarkable microclimate at the heart of the famous 'Undercliff.' This unique garden is protected from the cold northerly winds by chalk downs. In addition to enjoying the lovely gardens, it also hosts events and exhibitions and there is a restaurant and Café on-site for refreshments.

PLEASE NOTE: Guests can choose to either pay a non-refundable damage waiver of £35 or provide a pre-authorised security deposit of £150 before check-in. If the security deposit option is selected, no money will be taken unless damage is reported at the property within 7 days after departure



There is no electric car charger on site and guests are prohibited from using the mains electric in the property to charge a car.

    The cottage was very well-equipped, practical, well located and very comfortable beds. Everything worked and storage was great. Loved the nice bedding and towels! Nice that cleaning things and tea/coffee packets were there for arrival etc. We didn't miss anything we needed. Decor nice and lots of local information provided to help us plan and book trips out. The Island was lovely as ever loved Ventnor coastal hikes in both directions and really enjoyed the beaches at Bembridge and Appley! So many lovely walks and Ventnor is thriving nicely Nothing for us that impacted our stay.

    A very pleasant place to stay, within walking distance of the beach and in a central place to get round the island. Neighbour friendly and helpful.

    Thank you for a wonderful weekend in Ventnor. Everything ran incredibly smoothly all round. The cottage was lovely, clean, comfortable and full of personality. Checking in and out was incredibly straightforward and we will definitely be back again!
