Plum Island Beautiful views weekly summer rental

The key word to describe this home is cozy. That can be code for too small, but it can also be an accurate description. I am choosing to focus on the latter. The home was just enough for my family (wife, two small kids). The adults had a small bedroom with a closet and so did the kids. The kitchen was workable and the living/dining room provided enough room to allow us to sit on the couches and watch TV or rest from busy days. The front deck was nice as well as there were several chairs and a large umbrella. We sat out there a couple of times. Unfortunately, I have to report the bathroom is where cozy turns into too small. The shower, toilet and sink all worked fine, but I didn't feel terrific about the space I had while I was in there. The house was stacked with everything one needs as well: Pots, pans, dishes, trash barrels, a washer and dryer and some beach items, including a chair I found useful! In terms of location, the house isn't that close to the beach. But one can walk there. I had it at about 1,500 steps away to the sand, a 15-minute walk carrying beach stuff with me. The owner was nice, respectful and willing to help. When I told him his microwave wasn't working, he had a new one in the house on the same day. I appreciated working with him. Bottom line: This house isn't perfect, but I greatly preferred this over a hotel room or other locatiions. I would definitely stay at here again if I had the opportunity. You won't regret it if you stay.

It was exactly as described. The owner could not have been nicer. I would stay there again.

This is a cozy cottage not over restored. near beach and low key vibe. We brought our dog who enjoyed the beach in morning!

Great neat and quiet

Beautiful Breezy little cottage right on the Tidal Basin and a 13 minute walk to the ocean side beach. Wonderful quiet little neighborhood with friendly neighbors and everything you need at the rental, including two lovely porches to relax on. Great place.

Great, clean little spot close by to both the ocean front and basin. We used as a secondary accommodation for a large, family vacation and it was the perfect, clean, quiet getaway!

Pretty , casual beach cottage in amazing location with lovely views. Owner was available via text and helpful. We had a wonderful visit.

Our 3 young children and two dogs stayed here mid-August, just in time for beaches to open in the refuge. Both Mike and his wife were attentive and helpful when questions arose. We appreciated that the owners were nearby but not intrusive. This cottage is quite an affordable find and we would recommend it with no hesitation.

Great beach cottage close to all that Plum Island has to offer. This is a cozy place, clean, and great communication from the owner. We had a great time here!

Just what we expected. Manager a great guy. Unfortunately, the weather was good but chilly at the ocean. Many things to do nearby.
