Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Family vacation. Great location, nice beach, nice view. I was thankful for the 3 bedrooms but the place is , very small, no AC, unlevel floor, ancient furniture, bare cheap essentials in the kitchen, NO linens (not even kitchen towels), 1 roll of TP. A few of these amenities would have made it feel more worth the PREMIUM price. Would go back because of location and option to rent more cabins and be near other guests.

Reviewer Comments: The bedroom doors don't close real well the first bedroom door doesn't stay closed unless you put something heavy against it. the 2nd bedroom door closed very hard. otherwise great rental.

No cupboard space in kitchen for any groceries. Limited counter space. Closets shared with water heater, vacuums, pack & plays, etc. Floor is very slanted - question foundation. Thank goodness we had great weather so we could be outside. 3 bedrooms, we had 4 adults and one 9 nine year old which was acceptable but living space was tight. Outdoor community space was great. Around cottage very limited with steep drop off to lake. Stairs a few cottage down which offered direct access to lake. Management was very good, answered all emails and phone calls in a a very timely fashion. Great location. Sayner Pub is great. Elmer's go-carting, mini golf, and Cathy's ice cream a definite hit.

Beautiful view, everything was great, easy check in and the stay was good. Even without the a/c the fans worked and it cooled off at night so it wasn’t horrible. Two minor things, we had ants on the counter during our stay and the filter on the Keurig was so gross that it wouldn’t even work.

Cabin did have a minor ant problem, but traps were placed in the cabin. Spiders in bathroom. Ill fitting screens could be part of the issue. Temperature was pleasant with a lake breeze to cool off the cabin in the evening; Fans were sufficient. The cabin floor is not level, would’ve been nice to know this in advance. There was mouse poop in the turn style cabinet with dishes. Checkout is 8:30 a.m. with that being said I would expect the cobwebs, spiders, and mouse poop to not even be in existence. I realize there are many cabins there to clean, but this seems like something that should be taken care of with general cleaning. The cobwebs and spiders in the bathroom can be taken care of with washing the floor. Or maybe it wasn’t washed. Either way, we made the most of our time there!

We have been coming to this area for 15 years and this is the 1st time here at this cabin. The location is perfect; bars, restaurants and snowmobiling rentals are within walking. The 4 beds and pullout sofa were newer and plenty of comfortable seating watching Roku on the TV. They had plenty pillows , blankets and family games.

Cottage is located on a very nice lake centrally located in Wisconsin's North Woods, with numerous dining and recreation opportunities near by. The property it is located on is well taken care of with a great beach to hang out at, with kayaks and canoes available. The reason for the 3 stars is the cabin, while clean, needs a little care (peeling paint on deck, screens taped in place, slow bath tub drain, extremely unlevel floors). I know demand for this time of year is high, but the price was a little high for the condition of the cabin. However we still enjoyed our vacation

We loved this location. Even though the cabins are close it's quiet and peaceful. The lake view was absolutely amazing and our kids loved the fishing experience. We had everything we needed. Thanks so much for the stay!!

Reviewer Comments: We originally booked for 4 nights, but had to leave 18 hours after getting there. This cabin is as rustic as they come. For starters, the water had an unbearable odor and NEVER got hot. No way to shower or wash any dishes that were used. There were 3 fans, (only 1 box fan) 2 desk size fans. We were told, “Put the fan in the window to draw the lake breeze in”. Mhmmm!!The floor was very uneven, you might as well have been walking on the ground outside. Make sure, if you stay here, to bring towels and hand soap. If you forget, there is a Dollar General close by. Katy was good to deal with in refunding the remaining 3 nights after letting her know we could not stay there.
