Pet Friendly Cottage on 10 fantastic acres

Lovely property in quiet farm setting. Close to all the Southern Highlands townships. Spacious house with modern amenities and furnishings.

Great location, perfect for the kids as the owners were so kind to let them explore the property and see all the animals. The house was very clean and had all the necessities available. The kids adored Timmy the dog and we look to come back again very soon.

We booked this farm stay hoping for a peaceful and private getaway, but unfortunately that wasn’t our experience.The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well-presented, and the owners were friendly and helpful. However, the biggest issue was the lack of privacy. The owner’s house is located extremely close (around 10 metres) to the property we booked, which was not clearly shown or mentioned in the listing photos.There was also a camera positioned facing towards the house, which made us feel uncomfortable during our stay. In addition, there were frequent cars driving up and down the driveway, so it didn’t feel as quiet or secluded as expected.The property was advertised as being on 10 acres, but this space was not accessible to guests. Most of the land appeared to be in use, and we were unable to walk around or enjoy it as part of the stay.Overall, while the property itself was good, we would not recommend it to anyone specifically looking for a private and peaceful escape.

This place was truly lovely and exceeded our expectations. Doggie didn’t want to come home - nor did we. A most enjoyable stay.

Brilliant farm stay: a modern, well-equipped house on a lovely property that is well located but whisper-quiet. We really enjoyed the horses, Tim the dog, the lake, and interacting with the hosts over the Easter break. Thank you!

We couldn’t recommend Alan and Jeanette’s property more highly — it’s an absolute gem. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. When we arrived the temperature had dropped dramatically and it was freezing, so being able to light the combustion fire was perfect.I’m already missing Ruby and Spencer, the gorgeous Welsh Mountain ponies… and of course Tim the dog.We truly hope to be back soon. Loved everything about our stay - friendly horses, gorgeous kelpie (hello Tim), birdlife, the pub nearby for food, lovely hosts and the evening an echidna sauntered past the cottage.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. Our 4 legged Benny had a wonderful stay also. We loved the warmth and comfort from the fireplace.

A return stay for us, a great location and lovely hosts to deal with. Peaceful location surrounded by animals yet well located for whatever you plans may be up int he highlands.

Alan and Jeanette were wonderful hosts. This modern charming cosy 2 bed cottage was fabulous. We took our dog so the fully fenced back yard for nighttime pee stops, as well as the securely fenced 10 acre property, gave us total peace of mind. Our dog and the hosts’ dog Timmy entertained themselves and we enjoyed the wood burning stove and close proximity to Bowral. Great stay.

Hosts were friendly and warm. Place is central and lovely surroundings. Family friendly and able to feed goats on the property. Hosts gave us some veggies from their farm too. A wonderful stay overall.

We had a short little weekend getaway while attending a wedding. The property was fantastic, great for our little boy to see the animals. We loved going for walks around the property with him.We took our dog along too, she loved playing with Tim! Alan and Jeannette’s dog. He is such a friendly pup. Jeannette Was so welcoming when we arrived and gave us more information about the property and animals they have.We would highly recommend staying at this property!

Lovely hosts, great location, friendly puppy. Wonderful gardens and accommodation.Very centrally located with easy access to restaurants etc, but still feels very peaceful. Great getaway location.

Lovely country retreat complete with horses, goats and very friendly, gentle kelpie. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, the house spacious, clean, tidy, comfortable and well appointed. Perfect for a stay with our Italian greyhound who loved running around the grounds and playing with Jimmy the Kelpie and a visiting Scottie. We were there during storms and a blackout, but felt safe and cosy inside.

My family and I had a lovely time staying in this property. It is clean and comfortable. Our dog loved running around and playing with Timmy. It was a bonus to be able to see all the lovely animals, especially the baby goats.Fantastic stay and we will return again. Thank you.

Alan and Jeanette were wonderful hosts during our stay at their cottage. We really enjoyed having everything we needed and being in the quiet grounds of the farm but also being close to everything. The kids loved the horses and baby goats and we really appreciated Alan showing us around his farm. Definitely recommend!

It's a lovely clean well presented house in a peaceful location. Alan and Jeanette were amazing and very helpful hosts. We had so much fun in the farm. Our dog Teddy really misses Tim.
