A charming place with close access to the beach and anything else you could want or need for a beach vacation. Very clean with a well supplied kitchen. Guests may want to bring their own toilet paper or buy some once down there. Host communicated well.

This beach cottage was absolutely beautiful and the perfect place for our family vacation in the Outer Banks. The location was excellent, making it easy to enjoy the beach and everything nearby. The home was comfortable, well-kept, and had everything we needed to feel right at home during our stay.The host was amazing - friendly, responsive, and clearly committed to making sure guests have a great experience. That kind of hospitality really makes a difference, and it showed throughout our trip.We truly had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly getaway. Five stars all the way. We hope to be able to come back sometime soon!

Great location with easy beach access. The house was very quiet, even with being so close to NC 12. We would definitely stay here again on a future visit.

The location was awesome! Beautiful outdoor spaces that we enjoyed. It was well equipped and comfortable. Communication with the host was easy. The only negative was cleanliness on arrival. Surfaces were dirty: crumbs on counter, splatters, toilets not clean. I’m thinking cleaner didn’t show? Wiped all down myself and all was good.

Great house..very well-equipped w/everything you'd have at home (wife says a rack to drain dishes and real cloth dish towels would have been nice, not those microfiber ones). Beds were comfortable and bedrooms roomy. Close to all the attractions and restaurants.Had a great time.

Perfect stay for 2 couples, comfortable beds, 2 full baths. Short walk to the beach, however we usually drove to restaurants and other places of interest due to many along busy highway. Host was extremely prompt with communications which was very helpful with questions, check-in, etc. We appreciated the restaurant and places of interest he recommended. Loved all of the family pics placed throughout the house and the feeling of a family friendly space.Beautiful spaces to sit outdoors, when weather not beach friendly.

Excellent location. One row from beach access on a side street. It has an excellent outdoor shower that we love. Plenty of kitchen accessories. The property is well maintained inside and outside. Free linens for beds. Towels, hand towels, wash clothes, and dish clothes provided. This house is very cozy and carpeted. Great outside porches and decks. Plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, and kid toys for the beach. We have rented this beach house multiple times. Feels like home. Very nice place for the price.

This was our second stay at this lovely house by the beach in the Outer Banks, and once again, it did not disappoint. The house was spotless when we arrived, which we truly appreciated. It's clear the owners take great care in maintaining the property.One of the things we love most about this location is how convenient everything is. It’s just a short walk to the beach, and we’re always happy to be so close to the ice cream shop—definitely a favorite stop after a day in the sun! There are plenty of activities nearby too, whether you're looking to relax or explore.Overall, it's the perfect spot for a beach getaway, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit

Perfect summer beach house! Had a wonderful stay - enjoying coffee on the porch swing on the covered porch, fully stocked kitchen, short walk to the beach. Loved it all. We appreciated that all linens, beach chairs, and paper products were included. We also enjoyed watching the 4th of July fireworks from the top level porch!

My husband, stepmom, and I stayed for a whole week and totally enjoyed not having to drive for the majority of the time. The beach and lots of great restaurants are within walking distance. We also enjoyed the decks, with the lower one providing a nice shady spot during the day and the upper deck providing a great place to see the stars.

This was a great home for our family of five. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach, restaurants, and being in a central location in the outer banks which allowed exploring many attractions. Eating as a family on the porch and lounging in the swing were favorites for us all! We would definitely rent here again.

Great house, great location.

The Perfect Getaway was exactly as described. We loved how the house is decorated - cute, simple, and beachy. The house is in the perfect location to get to anywhere on the Outer Banks easily. There are many different food options available and the grocery stores are all close enough to run out and return back quickly. It’s a quick walk to the beach which was wonderful. We did not use any of the chairs or other beach items available. Maybe next time when it’s a little warmer. The kitchen had all the necessities to cook most anything. The only downside was the mattress in the guest room. It was uncomfortable and girls switched to the twin beds after the first night. The bed in the primary bedroom and the twin beds were way more comfortable. Over all, this was a great trip and we really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

The beach house is well equipped with good amenities. Great bath towels. Was surprised to have to make the beds, but understand why I guess. Never had to put linens on beds at a rental before but it did ensure they were clean. Being off-season, we did a lot of walking on the beach and just hanging out catching up. The house is very close to a convenient public beach access. Restaurants within walking distance and many options within a short drive. Didn't use beach towels. Wish we had the opportunity to use the outdoor shower, which looked amazing! Too cold for that. Enjoyable stay and would stay again.

We had a great time. The house was just as pictured and was exactly what we expected. It was after we got there we used the same beach access on a precious stay. It was great. Able to walk to local resteraunts and eat before walking the beach. Would deffinatly look to stay again if vacationed in OBX again.

Went down for a long weekend and although the weather did not cooperate we made the best of it. The home had everything we needed to enjoy a rainy game of games on the covered porch and seating for everyone to enjoy movie night! Love the location to the beach and the conveinent location .

There was a small snafu with cleaning, but that was resolved quickly. The house is in a great location and has some good areas outside on the decks to hang out. I hope to book again in the future!

We loved staying at this home for a full week. The pics don’t do it justice. The outdoor deck is basically a full extra living area. We spent most of waking hours out there. We had some unfortunate weather during our trip but were still able to be outside during the rain because of the deck. The beach is two houses away. House is stocked with everything you need.

For the third year in a row we really enjoyed our stay at the Perfect Getaway. Spent quite a few hours on the back deck admiring the new landscaping- great time had by all!

This house is such a wonderful place to stay in the outer banks. Dean, the owner, was extremely responsive to any and all communication I had with him. They recently completed backyard landscaping which is beautiful. A perfect place for my kids and their cousins to play in the evening in their bare feet. Beautiful grass and no sand or burrs. Location provides a quick walk to the beach and other local restaurants. Would recommend to anyone looking for a vacation rental in the outer banks.

The house is as described! Location is great. Short (1 block) and easy walk to beach was super convenient. Easy access to what Kill Devil, Nags Head and Kitty Hawk offer. House was comfortable, and is equipped with most of what you need. Communication with owner was prompt and straightforward. Really enjoyed our trip.

We stayed at this property once several years ago and have always remembered it as one of our favorites. Schedules and timing allowed us to stay again this year and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. Great location, very clean and comfortable house, everything a family could want or need whatever the weather.

We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this beach house! The proximity to the beach is great - 2 minutes maximum. The outside shower is perfect for getting all of the sand off before going in the house. The outside spaces are lovely. The house was very clean and well maintained. We look forward to staying again!
