Stayed Jan 1, 1Had a lovely stay again at pears grove. We make it work bring some things from home. It is a holiday home and the kitchen although lovely and new does not cater for 6 in everything. The bathrooms could do with bins. It’s in a nice area and on a good bus route, has nice walks in the area.

Stayed Jan 1, 1We had a very pleasant stay at Pears Grove. A large house with ample space for four women on a three night stay. The house was well presented and in a good position for trips to Emsworth and Chichester. Our only criticism is that there were no basic cooking essentials available, such as oil, only hand soap in one of the bathrooms and only two dishwasher tablets available for our use.

Stayed Jan 1, 1Enjoyed our stay in this modern house, in a quiet location and spacious for our family visit. Well equipped although a few more mugs would have been very useful. The parking for 2 cars was a bonus. Easy to find and with a mini supermarket, takeaway, farm shop and a pub in walking distance. Plenty of amenities and attractive places to visit nearby. I would have valued an information pack with guide to local shops, amenities, places to visit etc

Stayed Jan 1, 1Very pleasant stay in a lovely well maintained property. As a family we felt very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. As there were five of us we would have benefitted from an extra comfy chair or three seater sofa in the lounge.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The company where good to deal with kept you up dated with information and helpful on phone. Great place to stay. It’s near to places visit for shopping and walks. Enough room to stay in and be cosy on a winters day. We found the kitchen a good hub of the cottage but found the lack of number/sets of glasses and crockery could be looked at as for a party of 6 where not accommodated for. The key box was also tricky to open, could do with a little maintenance.

Stayed Jul 8, 2024We had an amazing time!!! The property is lovely, modern and spacious. The neighbors were friendly. The management staff were extremely helpful with our major medical need. A million thanks for helping us fulfill a dream for our son (attending Goodwood Festival of Speed).

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Lovely house, very clean, comfortable, plenty of room, it had everything we needed & more, it was well above our expectations. Parking is easy, house is in a very quiet good location, with shop, pubs within walking distance, and 20 mins by car to Portsmouth, will definately stay here again, and will recommend to family & friends.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed here for 4 nights whilst visiting family who live in the area. The cottage was lovely - beautifully decorated and furnished to a high standard. The beds were very comfortable and the whole house was very clean. The location was perfect for us and the area was very peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay and all agreed that we would book to stay here again in the future. The only things we can suggest which would improve the property would be blackout blinds/curtains in the bedrooms, as the current curtains and blinds let in a lot of light as the sun rises in a morning. Thank you for a fantastic stay, we are looking forward to staying again!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our colleague very much enjoyed staying at Pears Grove whilst supporting us on a major project for three weeks. With such a short distance from our office in Emsworth and other colleagues it provided superb relaxing home from home comforts as well as being able to provide great space to carry out any preparation required for the next working day. Thank you all at Henry Adams .

Stayed Jul 22, 2023Do NOT stay at this property - I would go as far to say that I would not stay at any property managed by Henry Adams. There was a large blob of blood, yes blood!, in the crockery drawer right by the plates. Crumbs in the fridge, black mould on the freezer door seal, cobwebs in every room, filthy dirty pole to open roof windows (covered in black dirt), upper floor toilet was leaking, the hairdryer was covered in dirt and the back of its filter was completely clogged and not safe to use, cracked tiles in en-suite shower with black mould on the sealant. During our stay someone waltzed into the rear courtyard unannounced and began tending to plants with no regard for how we may have been dressed or our privacy. Henry Adams failed to deal with these issues other than to clean the property after we had left and deny any issues despite the fact we took photographs.
