Absolutely perfect stay. Just enough space for me, myself and I for the night and excellent communication. Loved that Scott compiled information not only about the surrounding neighborhoods and things to do, but also in depth history about Portland itself. It was such a lovely read to welcome me into the city and the culture of the city, even though I was not here very long! Will be back in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay the Eco House. It's immaculately designed, tucked away off the street in a sweet patio garden, tastefully and artistically decorated, well-lit, cute and comfy. A cozy getaway spot for a solo trip or a couple that likes to stay close. :) The interior space is small indeed, so think about compact travel, but we were comfortable and appreciated all the thought that went into creating such an inviting jewel of a space. We also appreciated the eco sensibilities and fragrance-free space, as we're tired of having to air out our clothes from the usual Febreeze we're blasted with in other accommodations. We're pretty picky about that, and we were happy and had a great stay here. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, kitchen was well-equipped, everything worked. We slept well and enjoyed waking up and exploring the neighborhood. Would eagerly stay again.

Very clean & cozy cottage that was just right for our needs as a base for the weekend while visiting Portland. It's in a quaint & quiet neighborhood within walking distance to King Farmers Market and many bars/restaurants in NE Portland. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood every morning. Scott was very responsive to all of our needs, and we were very appreciative of the accommodations at the Portland Eco House. Looking forward to our next visit!

The moment i arrived it felt right, almost as if it was too good to be true. The atmosphere was peaceful and the check in was smooth as could be. It was my first time booking in the area so i wasnt sure what to expect but i was pleasantly surprised to find the entire place furnished and well looked after. The rules made sense to follow not asking too much of the guests while our host was always available for any questions, concerns or anything to ease our stay. I recommend highly if you pass by the area, it truly lived up to its rating.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Patio Cottage and will stay again as it is such a tranquil space to retreat to. Scott is a gracious host! He has information at your fingertips so you know how to conduct your stay as well as a great guide to all things Portland and Portland Area. The location is fantastic as there are great restaurants walking distance from the Patio Cottage. I look forward to my next stay!

This lovely cottage/coach house was the perfect spot for me to visit family. Tucked in a quiet block, the house was peaceful and artfully designed. Every detail was well-planned and the host was more than happy to be helpful and answer questions. The location was walkable to the local rose garden and the business district of Mississippi Avenue. I would highly recommend the EcoLodge cottage! I will return :-)

This cottage is very cute. Everything worked perfectly and was just as expected. The description and details were very accurate. Two of us stayed here and it was just what we wanted.Yes, the bathroom is tiny but we knew that already, as explained in the description, and it is very well organized. The shower is FABULOUS and not too small at all.We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Scott!

We are repeat customers. We love it here! Now that the weather is warmer we are enjoying the lovely stone patio! The cottage is so well appointed, and has a full sized refrigerator and good kitchen. There is a curtain between the bed part and the living room to block out light or the sun. Appreciate all the effort to do things ecologically.

I've been staying at the EcoHouse, in the Patio Cottage, whenever I visit Portland. I love it! Scott is the best host and goes out of his way to make my stay so nice. I've been visiting Portland for years and have stayed in hotels, but when my son got married and moved to the Alberta Street area, I found the Portland EcoHouse. I won't stay anywhere else now! Looking for somewhere to eat? Ask Scott. Want something fun to do? Ask Scott. He's very knowledgeable about the areas and is a wealth of information. I'm looking forward to my next visit!

The portland Eco house Patio cottage was the perfect stay! I booked for its proximity to my daughter’s new house and was so glad I did! It is a charming and thoughtfully appointed cottage in a very walkable and neighborly neighborhood with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. I was a little sad it wasn’t summer so we could take full advantage of the cute outdoor area, but next time for sure. Scott is also a gracious and accommodating host who made sure we had everything we needed to have the best stay. I am now going to have to purchase one of the same mattresses, since my partner couldn’t stop raving about how well he slept. I know we will be back to enjoy it all again. Highly recommend.

Had an overnight in Portland to see some friends, this was an easy stop in a great location (central to some great food and things to do, easy to get to). My travel buddy couldn't make it but I felt safe by myself; would've been totally fine and comfortable with another person even in the small space. Scott gave lots of detailed instructions and was super communicative. Added bonus: it rained overnight and it sounded lovely on the roof!
