Out of the Blue: Spacious pet-friendly holiday home in Rhosneigr

The location of this property cannot be beaten. A short cut through to the high street and less than 5 mins walk to the beautiful Broad Sands. The property itself is large but the layout can make the communal areas feel cramped for bigger groups. It is well equipped with ovens, washing machines and dishwashers etc. The living room is comfortable and the large dining table in the kitchen was great for family meals. Upon arrival we were disappointed to see that the cleaning was not up to usual standards. We called Anglesey Lettings and they were very responsive and helpful. Apparently the owners of this property use a different cleaner however for the price I would have expected a deep clean. Linen and towels smelled damp and the bedding in the annex was old and brown in colour. When we stripped the beds it was clear that they all needed a deep clean. The kitchen also needed a deep clean and the garden was untidy and rubbish had been left.

It was a lovely property with a fabulous location but there is some tlc needed. We had to fix a leaky radiator and the kitchen tap also leaked. Someone had also started to decorate so done all the edges of the walls which was a bit random. Overall a lovely property though.

Excellent property large and spacious,, good amenities and so close to the beach. Great family accomodation in lovely village.

Great location, provided ample space for all of us. The annex was an additional asset to the property. A few areas could do with a bit of TLC, but overall suited our needs and we would stay again.

We liked everything about this house so much we’ve booked it again for next year. It’s close to one of the Rhosneigr beaches which we like better than the main beach, the garden area is private and comfortable, well set up for cooking etc, plenty of comfortable places to relax indoors. Plenty of parking.

Ideal location, spacious house that with a little more attention to detail and care of cleaning and maintenance could be fantastic. In particular the outside areas need sprucing up and tidying. All said, would recommend this for anyone who needs a space for elderly relatives as the annexe is private whilst still part of the main house. Some of the furnishings also need replacement as the sofa in the kitchen is worn and not comfortable.

House in a good spot and as there were 5 adults, we had lots of space. Kitchen lacked saucepans/other utensils to cook a meal for 5 but we managed. The microwave was dirty and had to clean before we could use it. Lots of fridge and freezer space. Unfortunately the house was not that clean when we arrived. Including us finding a filled, squashed dog poo bag that was in the garden and had not beenput in the bin. One of the reasons for booking was so my son and girlfriend could have some private space. The Annexe was so damp she had an asthma attack in the night and had to come upstairs to the bunk room so she wasn't that comfortable. It smells badly of damp at the bottom of the stairs and corridor to the kitchen. The TV in the lounge is too small for 5 people to crowd around to watch and as the weather was bad (nothing can be done about that) it wasn't practical for the party. Some furnishings were badly stained. The garage light was on most of the night and with no curtains in the Annexe bedroom, we went out to B&M to buy a dark, lightweight blanket that we could hang at the window. The beach is literally just round the corner and my dogs love it (have previously stayed 3 times at a house down the street) which was good because they won't put a foot in Astro-turf. Garden is very small. The house is surrounded by several other properties,first house on the left as you enter the road hosted a party until gone 2.00am not youngsters.lots of drunken cackling.

We have stayed in lots of properties in rhosneigr and this is up there with the best. Very spacious, enclosed back garden, ample off road car parking which is a rarity here and everything you need for a perfect holiday. The only thing i think that could improve it for me is a nespresso/pod coffee machine, but on the plus side it has everything else, two washer dryers, two dishwashers and even two cafetieres!! We will definitely be returning back.

Perfect location for the beach and village, spotlessly clean, garden secure for the dogs, off road parking.

Lovely house in the best location - literally minutes from Broad Beach House is huge and so clean and the outdoor space was fantastic Needs a little upgrade on crockery and glasses as there weren’t that many of each and the boiler needs looking at as we had a couple of issues with it but the service was outstanding from the letting company and we had someone looking at it within 30 mins of reporting an issue Would totally recommend
