Stayed Sep 6, 2025Rosemary’s property is in a beautiful location close to Rockland. We enjoyed being able to take short drives to nature preserves, lighthouses and historic sites. The view from the deck is gorgeous. We were very fortunate to have a week of mostly dry weather to enjoy some relaxing time on the deck. We cooked all our fresh seafood meals in-house and the kitchen was well stocked for that purpose.

Stayed Jul 19, 2025This cottage is in a beautiful location! The view of Penobscot Bay is wonderful. The local seafood restaurants are excellent! Every morning we got up to see the sunrise over the harbor and went into town for breakfast or a lobster roll at Claws or McLoons (both outstanding!!).The owners are sweet, they came to greet us. Overall it is clean, the decor is older, but it made us feel like we were at our gramma's house for a visit!THE VIEW is outstanding!

Stayed Aug 10, 2024Great location to all the sites and activities surrounding the area. The cottage is perfect for 2 people. If you don't want a lot of excitement this place is for you. Enjoyed the daily feeding of the seagulls from the owner next door! Wonderful time.

Stayed Jul 6, 2024My husband and I just returned from a wonderful week in Maine on Penobscot Bay. The cottage was perfect- clean, comfortable, ideal location, and a terrific view of the bay. Perfect for relaxing and taking trips to surrounding towns, hiking, restaurants, and beaches. Al and Rosie were super friendly and helpful and we hope to return to the cottage in the future.
