Peaceful coastal cabin with screened porch, water view of the cove, dog-friendly

if you are looking for some peace and quiet - and a relaxing coastal getaway, this property is perfect. It's just like the pictures, located in a beautiful field with sweeping views of an inland tidal bay with grass paths cut through the fields to the waters edge. One of the highlights of the property is the nearby beach (7 minutes walk or 1 minute drive), which is only visited by a few locals.....very cool retro beach!The property owner (Chip) was great to work with - gives you all the inside tips for the areaLoved our stay!

Fabulous location, great home base for exploring right out the door and beyond.

From the moment we arrived the beauty and serenity drew me in. The tide going in and out was mesmerizing. The SeaMeadow of flowers was so gorgeous. The accommodations were simple, complete and comfortable. The cottage was cozy and the views were beautiful from inside as well. We loved our stay and hope to return.Chip was helpful and available.

I Stayed here with my family and our 2 dogs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is better than described and prettier than the photos. Picturesque sea meadow with great paths for walking our dogs. Impressive view from the second floor bedroom window and screened porch was used often. Easy access to Rockland, Camden, and local beaches. The owner Chip was friendly and extremely helpful. Check-in/check-out was simple. I would highly recommend this property!

Chip's beautiful lodge by the bay is spectacular. The location offers morning sunrises, peaceful evenings, and the comforts of a rustic home. Checkin was seamless and the home was perfectly appointed for a weekend getaway or a holiday with family meals. We actually enjoyed being disconnected from the internet and TV. We are really eager to return in the Spring to see the sunrise again.

Chip was very forthright and accurate in his description. If anything the house and setting was even nicer and more peaceful than the listing made it sound. Great spot to relax and enjoy the cove.

A great house with a wonderful screen porch. House has everything you need as described. Owner a great source of info. for things to do in area, and was very attentive to any questions we had.

Well-equipped, charming, comfortable house in a delightful location. We were five adults, and managed fine. The porch is a wonderful amenity, and the location is ideal.

We loved the place. Cottage is quite vintage. Property is breath-taking.
