In a prime location on Mount Desert Island Maine, this property has been lovingly cared for and enjoyed by the same family for four generations. The Cottage was designed and built in 2003-2004 by our father, Caleb, to take full advantage of this ideal spot which has direct access to the water, dock, mooring and gorgeous views of the harbor.
Near the end of a private road on Connor Point, you will feel the peacefulness of a true get-away. Steps away from hiking in Acadia National Park,

Stayed Sep 27, 2025Everything was in perfect order, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The area is beautiful and close to Acadia with a trail within walking distance. The harbor, restaurants and shops are 10 minutes from the house. Ben (the host) directions to the house, and recommendations to all activities were excellent. I would love to stay again if I'm ever in this area of Maine.

Stayed May 21, 2025Peaceful and Perfect GetawayWe had a wonderful stay at Caleb’s Cottage in Southwest Harbor. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing week. It was the perfect place to come back to after long days of hiking and biking in Acadia.We enjoyed cooking big breakfasts, packing lunches for the trail, and spending quiet evenings playing games or relaxing by the dock. Watching the jellyfish drift by in the peaceful harbor was an unexpected highlight.Ben was a great host, and we’d happily recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet retreat with easy access to outdoor adventures.

Stayed Oct 18, 2024I absolutely loved our stay at Caleb’s Cottage! The location was perfect for our trip. The house and surrounding area were beautiful. I loved sitting on the porch relaxing as the sun went down. Water pressure was fantastic and the showers were nice and hot. The host was super responsive. I would highly recommend this place!
