Ocean view cottage on a quiet beach just minutes from swimming pigs

We spent 10 days calling Harbor Blue Beach Cottage home! The patio right by the water & easy access to Pirate Trap Beach were 2 of our favorite things about this place. We saw nurse sharks, stingrays, turtles, & fish right from the patio. Enjoyed snorkling the cove, where we spent time observing the turtles & conchs. We cooked a handful of meals at the cottage, which was stocked with the cooking items needed to do so. Other positives of the cottage were the comfortable bed & a nice shower with plenty of hot water & good pressure. We rented a golf cart & enjoyed exploring the island. Our other favorite beach was Ho Tai Cay. Would highly recommend booking an excursion to see the pigs, iguanas, sharks, etc. well worth it. The nice thing was after a day full of adventure, fun, & sun at the end of the day we had somewhere that felt like home to go to!!

A very comfortable home, in a wonderful location, with stunning views and easy beach access. We rented a golf cart and had fun tooling around town, exploring and meeting many lovely people. We also loved hanging on the deck at the house, watching boats go by and swimming at the beach right beside the house. The owner, Sophia, was easy to communicate with and made everything go smoothly. This is a very special place and we look forward to a return visit.

We loved our first time in Staniel Cay. This house was great. The location and view are incredible. We loved the walkway down to the beach. It was our favorite beach on the island. We would recommend this place to anyone and would stay again! Communication with the managers was great as well!

Second stay at Harbor Blue and we will continue returning. We love everything about this place! The layout is perfect with each bedroom having its own bathroom and patio sliders. The beach access is phenomenal with the private walkway and outdoor shower. The back deck views are beyond words. Looking forward to our next visit

Hidden gem! Such a beautiful location on Staniel! Our kids loved playing on the beautiful, calm, beach, and the views from the house and porch are incredible! We had the best time!

My family of 4 had a wonderful 5 night stay at this cottage. It's on a great spot on the island with gin-clear water and a powdery, white sand beach. The communication with Sophia was top-notch, she answered questions quickly and thoroughly. We had a little maintenance issue and it was handled right away, the same evening! Don and Sophia are the nicest hosts with true Bahamian hospitality. I look forward to hopefully visiting again soon.

Kitchen was not fully stocked. WiFi was horrible. Worked 10% of the time. Guest shower did not get hot. Had cold showers all week

W have stayed multiple times in this house, the location is our favorite. It is quiet and the beach is perfect to let your kids play.

The view from the deck is to die for and Pirate Trap Beach right next door is one of the nicest beaches on the island. Very clean cottage with tons of beach gear and towels galore !

We had a fantastic stay at a lovely cottage. The location is stunning and the hosts, Sophia & Don, are fabulous. You won’t go wrong if you stay here, the island is extremely easy to get around with lots of activities or just chilling on the deck enjoying the view.

You cannot find a more beautiful view from a deck. The location is amazing with a swimming beach that is almost empty of people most of the time. You can see turtles and stingrays when snorkeling from the beach. The house has everything you need and is very well taken care of. The owners are helpful and we are incredibly grateful that we were able to stay in their home.

I almost hate to be honest about this amazing cottage because I'd like to keep it a secret for my family! The location of this quaint 2 bedroom/2 bath can't be beat, though you will need a golf cart to get to the grocery stores and restaurants. Your deck is perched above stunning turquoise water and you can hear the waves gently lapping and lulling you to sleep at night if you leave the sliding doors open (there are screens to prevent any bugs from entering). There's a short walkway to a beautiful little beach (Pirate Beach), but be careful, currents are very strong in between the cuts in the Exumas, like a powerful river. The best time to swim is slack tide---that's 30 minutes on either side of high and low tide. Thankfully it's pretty shallow so you can plant your feet. It's obvious by the change in water color where it's deep and where it's shallow. Haven't seen too many fish while swimming here, but I think that's got a lot to do with the strong current. There are better snorkel spots in other places around the cay. This is a peaceful paradise, perfect for unplugging and living Pura Vida. There is AC and Wi-Fi if you need it. No question, we'll we back.

My wife and our 2 teenage boys had an amazing stay on Staniel Cay at the Harbor Blue Cottage. The house was spacious, clean, and with brand new modern appliances and air conditioning. The view from the deck of small bay off Pirates Beach was stunningly beautiful. There's a small path down to the beach itself which is semi-private and delightful. Many of the previous guests in the sign in book had been there before, and we can see why. It will be hard to go anywhere else in the Carribean after this!
