This was our second visit to Nursery cottage, unfortunately the weather was very similar to our previous visit in December (except the rain was warmer this time). As before, the cottage was very clean and comfortable. It has everything you need for a peaceful stay. This time we were entertained daily by a red squirrel raiding the bird feeder. It's the perfect place to chill out. We will definitely visit again.

The cottage was lovely and welcoming and it helped that for our five nights stay we had wonderful weather. The view from the large living room window was captivating. Everything was very clean and the dining/kitchen was excellent for cooking and enjoying meals. We would have no hesitation in returning.

Spotlessly clean. Everything you need. No complaints. Garden was great for the dog. Only thing lacking is a mirror near a plug socket if you need to use a hairdryer.

Nursery cottage was warm and cosy and is decorated and finished to very high standard throughout. The location is perfect for access to many local walks and is only 10 minutes from Dunoon. The view from the cottage is stunning (inspite of the poor, misty weather we had during our stay). The almost full size window in the living room maximises this view. There's a nice deck at the front (which we didn't use because of the weather) which would be nice in the summer. I need to mention the owner, Jo, who was extremely friendly and helpful. Hopefully we will return again. Highly recommended!

After having to cancel our original booking due to a family death, all involved were very accommodating in rearranging our booking. Property fulfilled our expectations of a peaceful relaxing time away. Owner very willing to answer any questions if needed. Most enjoyable time away.

Excellent location with stunning views. Cottage is spacious, well laid out and well furnished: very comfortable and relaxing. Communication was excellent both prior to and during the stay. A great place to use as a base to explore the amazing area and then relax with a wee glass or two watching the sun go down over the gorgeous views of the water and hills.

The cottage was perfect for us, 2 adults, a preteen and a dog. A cosy feel with a view you can never tire of. Loved sitting on the veranda with a morning cuppa, just beautiful. We had our paddle boards and there was no shortages of places close by to launch. We took a day trip to the Isle of Bute and visited all the places close by, Puk’s Glen, Benmore Botanic Gardens, Kilmun Arboretum, so much to see and do, truly stunning location. We didn’t do much cooking but the cottage has everything you need, including some essentials like, salt, sauces, tea, coffee etc. There was plenty dish towels, dish cloths, washing up liquid etc and plenty bath towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner. Over all absolutely everything has been thought of. I would highly recommend a stay here.

This was our third time coming back to Nursery Cottage and it was as lovely as ever. It’s the perfect base for exploring the local area, our favourites this year were Puck’s Glen and Ardentinny beach on a sunny day. We also got to try food at The Strone Inn which was delicious! Jo couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating, we feel very lucky to get to stay in this gem of a cottage, it really is a special place.
