12 adults for a joint bachelor/ Bachelorette party for the weekend. More than enough beds and bathrooms for all of us plus 2 patios to hangout on. Ideal location for the dunes and close enough to bars if you have someone willing to drive. Access to lake and kayak included was great as well. Had a blast and would definitely stay again if dunes are a repeat vacation!

We really enjoyed this house…ample beds to accommodate 15 of us and more if we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. We liked the open concept of the kitchen, dining and living area. The wraparound porch & fire pit also had plenty of seating area. There were a few issues that we let the host know of and he was very receptive to taking care of them.

Our stay will always be in our memories first and foremost because early one morning in the first half of our week-long stay, a terrific storm passed through, splitting the oak tree in the front yard so that it took out the power pole and miraculously missed our parked vehicles, even as it trapped us in the driveway. There were many others in the community who were also without power, water, and internet. Fortunately, John had another VRBO property in the area that was similar in size that we were able to relocate to for a night (once the first department kindly cut us a tunnel to drive through our fallen tree). John was fantastic to work with and very understanding of our situation. Outside of the storm, we had a great time taking the kids to the lighthouse, walking in to the state park beach, hanging out on the Lake Michigan beach, enjoying some dune rides, and even taking the kids down to Michigan's Adventure for a day of roller coasters and slides. The weather (apart from the storm) was cool and wonderful for us Virginians used to 90+ temps and similar humidity. We ate our weight in blueberries and cannot wait until we can get back to the Great Lakes State. :)

Our stay was amazing so much to do around silver lake. The house had everything we needed and the host Jon was very responsive to helping us! I highly recommend staying here and Lewis farm is a great place to visit and the Mac fine buggy rides is a must!

Was a great place to stay to enjoy the dunes and lakes for a week. We enjoyed kayaking on Silver Lake and the creek and spent much time at the ORV park, dunes, and beach. I found the description in the listing to be accurate. Very spacious! Thank you for sharing your place with us!

This is the perfect house to stay at for a large group of families + kids. We picked this house for 4 families, while we ended up having sitters, we will definitely be using it again for weekend trips to the dunes. We were able to fit 3 trucks and 3 utility trailers (short bed/14-16 ft trailers) with JUST enough room for a 4th. We recommend backing them in however, it is on a main road so that can be slightly tricky when you first arrive. Loved having the wrap around deck/porch. It did end up raining a little bit while we were grilling but a normal sized canopy fits perfectly right over the grill area so if there is a chance of rain and you plan on grilling/sitting outside just keep that in mind! Once we left I thought we had left something behind and Jon was very responsive and was able to check with the cleaners to see if they noticed it (turns out we had it all along) but just the steps he took to check was very reassuring! Definitely worth it to stay here, and we will be back without a doubt!

Met up here with family for a few days. The kitchen is fully stocked with basically everything we could have needed. We had 12 in our group and there was plenty of room for everyone. Great communication with owner, and he was responsive. It was a very easy booking and stay.

We had seven adults, two kids under ten, and a dog. Plenty of space for everyone to have their own space. The house is very well appointed with linens, dishes, utensils, etc. All the rooms have oscillating fans which is nice if you sleep with a fan on for the white noise. The access to Silver Lake across the street is great, the front and back decks and outdoor areas are very comfortable, and the access to the silver lake dunes orv area is great. Five minute drive. I highly recommend this property and plan to stay again! Thanks Jon!
