Lake Michigan Beachfront Cottage Huge Deck Low Bluff Newly Remodeled Kayaks SUP

We had an amazing experience staying at Sandpiper cottage. The home was exactly as described - huge deck, clean, cozy and well-equipped with everything We needed. The location was perfect close to Silver Lake Dunes or Cherry Point Farm and Market where we had Fish Boil Dinner.Check in was smooth and communication with the host was fast and helpful. We especially appreciated beautiful view and beach and kayak. The area has many nice hiking trails, apple peach farms and winery.I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Great stay, beautiful views, and amazing hosts!

This is our second time staying at this beautiful house because we loved it so much the first time! It is open, bright, and clean. It has a great layout for a large extended family to stay together. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful private beach (the shed is full of chairs, toys, paddle boards, and fun games) and it is only a short walk to the Sable lighthouse.Less than a 5 minute car ride to Mac Woods, ORV rental shops, and Craig’s (arcades, go carts, putt putt). 20 minute ride to Lewis Adventure Farms (highly recommend for families). Scott & Gwen are wonderful hosts and were easy to contact with questions.

Absolutely the cleanest place we have ever rented. Lovely views from the beach before the beach area. We watch meteor showers which were amazing. We utilized the kayaks and the paddle board as well as a new raft. Very comfortable set up with plenty of room and spaces to spread out. Well stocked kitchen. We made lots of good memories and will hopefully rent this place again in the future. Hosts were very responsive to questions we had.

Wonderful place. Huge deck was perfect for our small grandkids to play on, even a toddler gate. Short flight of steps, then a short trek down a sand hill to the beach. A creek running parallel to lake shore was great for the toddlers. They loved all the soft sand. The shed was full of toys and chairs for everyone, the sun shield worked out great! Beautiful sunsets every night, we even made s’mores at the fire pit. The house was well equipped and beds were comfy. Perfect for our family of 7 adults and 4 small children.

We had another great stay! This was our third summer and it gets better each year. Property is amazing, hosts are responsive, and lots of fun for adults and kids.

The cottage was very nice with tons of amenities! Our kids loved the kayaks, paddle board and sand toys to play with. Amazing views and a perfect location. The owners are very responsive and great to work with as well!

Two houses in one! Very clean. The view is amazing and the beach access is steps away! Parking is perfect for parking a truck and trailer for SxS(50ft). There's also a public parking lot across the street! Two minutes away from Lighthouse. 5 minutes from dunes! Scott and Gwen were amazing and very prompt at communicating with us! We'll definitely be going back!

What a great spot!! Short walk to the lighthouse by beach or road. The deck space was fantastic. Easy for my 90 year old mother to navigate her walker all the way to the edge of bluff to an amazing swing to watch the perfect sunsets. New grill and well stocked kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. No stairs to get down to the beach, had to walk down the sandy bluff which we all had no problem with. Just as easy as stairs. Will definitely look to staying here again.

We had an amazing time at this lakeside cottage! Scott & Gwen have thought of everything that you might need for a great vacation. Our kids loved playing in the sand and creek and there were plenty of beach toys provided. Everything was clean and comfortable. We loved being able to open the sliding doors and hear the waves even when you were inside. There are plenty of fun activities close by but our favorite part was being at the cottage and relaxing!

Worth every penny! Million dollar views! Pictures do not do this place justice! Perfect hosts, very responsive, friendly and courteous. Scott and Gwen have meticulously thought of every detail to enhance your stay! The separate quarters on the lower level worked out perfectly for my brother and his family. Do not hesitate to book, you will not be disappointed!

This is our second summer here and loved it. Wonderful location, beautiful views, fully equipped house, and Scott and Gwen are very responsive and gracious hosts. We cannot wait until next summer!

Our stay at this property was Great!! Everything as advertised. Great communication. House was exceptionally clean, well stocked, great location., beach and sunsets were great. Beds were very comfortable. No complaints from other guest staying with us. Deck area and acess to beach was good and allowed for alot of people (12) in our party to gather and talk. The separate unit below was good because it allowed some separation with the part of our group who had a family of 6 (six). Unit had a kitchen area as well. Scott was great with communication as well. Plenty of beach chairs, toys etc. The area does not have alo of eating establishments and you have to travel about 20 mins to nearest reasonably pruced grocery store. Definitely would rent again and hope to return if all dates with our family can work out. GREAT STAY!!

It was like being on the Atlantic Ocean. I felt right at home. Scott and Gwen are the most wonderful hosts. I highly recommend it.

The beach house was amazing!! The decor and the design of the house was perfect. The view from the deck was beautiful and I loved sleeping with the screen door open as you could hear the waves crashing!! We were here for our daughter’s wedding at the dunes on the beach.The house had everything you needed for a wonderful stay!! Scott & Gwen were perfect hosts. We can’t wait to come back and make more family memories.
