Stayed Oct 3, 2025A small cozy enclave location with a territorial view in a quiet part of town. It is private in a unique way with the planting around the facility and the way homes are grouped. Communication with the manager is superb. Close to Port Townsend trails. The photos on the listing are accurate as is the description. Residents in the area are friendly. We have stayed there before and will continue to go back. A lot of care and planning has gone into this home. Quietness and Tranquility is important for us and to respect the neighbors.

Stayed Sep 1, 2025This was our fifth one-month stay at the Modern Cottage Compound. A great place for a large family and in-laws. Three buildings at the compound, so everyone has a place to themselves. The landscaping makes for total privacy.

The owner was very accommodating and promptly responded to any questions we had. 10/10 space. I highly recommend this charming home.

Stayed Aug 1, 2023Great property in a great location! Well stocked with everything you might need. Bonus - momma deer and two babies spent almost our whole vacation frolicking or napping on and around the property. We will be back.

Stayed Aug 28, 2021The property is just as described. Proximity to trails was wonderful! The outdoor space was amazing, like having another room. Everything was quite private. We stayed with our two 12 year old sons and there was plenty of space.
