Minstrel Lodge : Spacious 4‑Bed Pet-Friendly Villa with Sea Views in Rhosneigr | Managed by Anglesey

Lovely end 3 storey house with an amazing top floor with living room, kitchen and dining room. Plenty of room for all. Garage has plenty of beach items for kids and adults too. Bedrooms are lovely and 4 bathrooms! Really enjoyed staying here. The top floor gets very warm but with windows and the patio doors open, it creates a lovely breeze. Some elements of cleaning could be better. Inside the cupboards had lots of crumbs and the balcony needs a jet wash but wow, I would not hesitate to stay again as it was very luxury. You can see the bottom of the runway for RAF Valley and the beach from the balcony. Really good 4 days. Check in is 5pm which is late, but check out at 11 is good.

We stayed at Minstrel Lodge over Easter. The house is in a wonderful location with views on one side to the mountains and views on the other side to the sea and RAF Valley. It was lovely to look out each day and see the waves from the sea, as well as the planes taking off and landing from the RAF base. The house itself is a bit tired in places but that’s to be expected with a holiday house. The only issue we really had is that the house wasn’t very clean. The floors were dirty on arrival and the bed frame in the main room was very dusty (the sheets were clean). There was also hair and dirt around the base of the toilet. I have some photos if you’d like to see them. The pans were also dirty and the unit under the TV was very dusty. The addition of a new dustpan and brush and mop would be a good idea as the only brush we could find had been damaged and there was no mop/bucket. The house could be lovely, it just needs a really good deep clean…and some better blinds/curtains for those early summer sunrises.

We really enjoyed our week at Minstrel Lodge, location was excellent, less than 5 minutes to have sand between our toes or into the village centre for excellent brunch/coffee options. More needs to be made of the views, whether it be the sea view, the view of RAF Valley’s runway and training aircraft, both from the living room/balcony, or the views of the mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia) from the kitchen/dining room picture windows. We were especially blessed as the mountains had had a recent and quite heavy snow covering and we also got Euro fighters visiting the base. The property was perfectly adequate for our needs and matched our expectations.

Having stayed in several different properties in Rhosneigr this remains our favourite. It is so well equipped with everything you might need and the welcome pack was much appreciated. The modern bright open plan style of this property is great and is situated perfectly for wonderful walks along the beach or onto the coastal pathway. The view of the mountains from the back windows is stunning and changes with the changing cloud cover.We were again very lucky with the weather and enjoyed sitting out in the back garden which is secure for those with dogs. We so enjoyed our stay in this beautiful property.

Beautiful house with views to the sea and of Snowdonia all at once. Everything you need in the home and more and location is easy walking distance to the town. Really nice to not have to drive and we enjoyed a relaxing 4 night family break. Couple of minutes walk to the beach for swimming and sunsets - couldn't have been more perfect!

Brilliant Stay, in a well-looked-after house perfect for families or groups of friends. Location is great, close to the beach and the perfect base for sight-seeing in north wales.

We went to minstral lodge for a week in Rhosneigr, arrival was smooth and access was easy, the house is spacious enough for 8 people and three dogs, the house was well presented, a few cobwebs here and there but nothing major, the location to the beach is excellent, the house gets really warm even with little heating on with the top floor being the main living area, watching the red arrows and fighter jets take off from the runway was great and the kids loved it, overall a great place to stop and I wouldn’t hesitate to return

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house provided us with all the essentials. Our priority would be to stay a little closer to the village. After a long stay on the beach…. Little legs were tired. Thank you for a great week. It will probably be a yearly trip in our diaries.

location fantastic and property set up is perfect for a busy family. A* property you can part at the side of house there is ample parking.
