MAPLE COTTAGE - Lakefront on Thayer Lake in Alden with WiFi, AC

Perfect secluded lake cabin with great views! Comfortable and cozy for our family of 3. My husband loved fishing on the kayak and caught a number of bass.

Such a beautiful location. Right on Thayer Lake. The cabin was beautiful and looked like it had completely been remodeled inside. Many extra amenities and the sheets were so soft! We would definitely return if we are ever in the area again.

Quiet, cozy and clean. We spent 5 days and enjoyed every day. The lake was beautiful and it was so much fun using the kayaks. We made a fire one night, wood was available for purchase at the going area rate. Marshmallow roasting sticks were provided.

Very nice,clean and quiet with excellent view of the lake. It had everything we needed to stay, next time we'll stay longer. Nice workmanship on the inside.

Excellent property. Very clean and neat. Good beach and swimming.

The cabin location was excellent, with beautiful views/access to Thayer Lake and very close access to Alden and Torch Lake. The only negative is that the cabin was quite small for a family of four to share and lacked space for all our stuff. It's nicely updated but could use a new front door that might go a long way towards keeping the bugs out better. (I get that staying at a lake comes with bugs!)

We had a great time at the cabin. It was clean and well stocked. The lake was quiet and kids enjoyed swimming and fishing. Great location close to town. We used fire pits for night time s’mores. Shared water access worked good for us and we enjoyed the kayaks and dock on property. Communicate with host was prompt and helpful. Hope to come back again!

The cottage was perfect for our get away. It was windy and cold so we did a shopping tour of the towns around the lakes and wine tasting. We did a little kayaking. Great Lake for that. Had a little bon fire. This is great place to stay.
