Stayed Jul 26, 2025We had a very enjoyable time in Ballater. The cottage is perfect. Very clean, modern and comfy. Lovely private garden area aswell. About 5 minutes walk to centre of Ballater.

Stayed Apr 24, 2025The cottage was a tiny home, cute, cosy, warm & pretty. It had many lovely touches inside. It was old and had been done up and was very clean and fresh. Kitchen had oven and stove top and all accessories. Bathroom the same. Bedroom was lovely. Just room to put case. Bed comfortable. Heating throughout. Windows were pretty. Host had been away and arrived back on our stay and very helpful about walks and things to do. Outside area but too cold!

Stayed Sep 18, 2018The cottage is detached from the main house and offers privacy. There is a separate sleeping and eating area. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with mini-fridge. It is located within easy walking distance of restaurants and shopping in town and many are attractions are within easy driving distance! Lisa was very helpful and friendly, offering recommendations for dining and sightseeing in the area. We highly recommend this accommodation when you come to visit this part of Scotland!
