There is nothing mentioned about a VERY steep driveway to VERY limited parking at the top next to cabin. Also, the Hot tub had a terrible, musty odor when we opened the top. We notified the owner who sent someone the next day to clean but why wasn't cleaned before we arrived? In addition, 2 of the beds had sheets that smelled musty also.Kitchen was clean but there was condiments left in the refrigerator that had been opened- YUCK! not sure why they were left

Super cutie little mountain getaway! Homeowner was extremely helpful and responded super quickly when we had a little hiccup! Very very close to tweetsie and was awesome to hear the train horn at night when sitting in the hot tub!!!

Such an amazing werekend stay with friends! Very cozy and perfect space to unwind and get away from the noise of a big city! The inside gas fireplace was AMAZING for the cold weather.

The house is meticulously clean, with cozy cabin decor, and has all the amenities needed for a wonderful stay. Better than the photos show! The views from the porch are beautiful and peaceful. We highly recommend Misty Creek and hope to return some day!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was nicely appointed, it had all the amenities and amazing views. The driveway is no joke, but we manages just fine.

We enjoyed our visit at this cabin - with a beautiful mountain view and blooming rhododendrons around the cabin. It was a very clean, quiet, and comfortable cabin, close to both Boone and Blowing Rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The family room furniture was comfortable with a nice view through big windows. Our favorite spot was sitting on the covered deck watching the weather change before our eyes over the mountains. We didn’t use the hot tub, but it has a nice view of the mountains near the firepit. The sunsets were spectacular from the deck!

We saw the listing and thought it was beautiful. We read the incredible reviews and were impressed. We booked and made our plans….but never expected it to be this gorgeous. It’s private, it’s comfortable, so clean, so pretty, and everything we wanted in a vacation home. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We enjoyed our stay! The house is so clean and we had everything we needed! The hot tub was very nice and the primary room's bed was very comfortable. We had reservation issues (vrbo's fault) and Renee responded very quickly to me and helped get the issue resolved quickly! It's a very cozy home and we would stay here again.

The home was immaculate. We drove up for a quick weekend snowboarding trip with our daughter. The directions were very well laid out making the check in and check out process a breeze. The beds were sooo comfortable. We enjoyed the additional “touches” added to make our stay more comfortable. We did not partake in the hot tub this trip due to extreme winds and cold air, but perhaps next time we will. Just an FYI: we could not get the channel to change with the remote in the room our daughter stayed in but she was fine. The other room does not have a tv..so if you’re someone who needs tv to fall asleep to you might want to bring something..did not affect us..we did not need that room. The two bedroom doors upstairs do not close all the way( I’m sure due to the house shifting, as they tend to do that) The home was decorated beautifully. We enjoyed the fireplace and the soft throws. It was also a nice surprise to find board puzzles in the cabinet. Everything was truly perfect for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a beautiful cabin home in the mountains of WNC. The owners had it decorated for Christmas that added to the ambiance. Everything exceeded expectations. The fireplace and hottub were an added bonus because it was quite cold outside. Very close to the charming downtown of Blowing Rock and Boone is nearby as well. Highly recommend and will be back!

Nice cozy home with great views. The pics & house descriptions were spot on. Only thing was that the gas logs did not work due to a gas tank issue caused by the hurricane which was communicated to us & completely understandable.

Home was beautiful! Anything you need is there. We loved fire pit and hot tub.

We enjoyed the quiet and the beautiful view! I loved sitting on the porch and reading and drinking my coffee in the morning and enjoying the sunsets at night. The beds were very comfortable. The only thing I didn’t love, and this is a personal preference, was a synthetic fragrance plug in. But I am sensitive to too much fragrance. I would definitely go back!

Driving up the mountain I knew the views would be so worth it. Cabin felt very secluded with a steep private drive and ample space to turn around for the drive down. There is a cabin further up the road behind this one but the foliage really kept the privacy, so much so I didn’t notice it was there at first. My kids and I adored the back porch for meals, reading and just generally taking in the amazing view. We were visited by deer daily as well as rabbits and hummingbirds. The cabin itself was very clean and well equipped with all we needed, pots, plates and utensils, to prepare meals. Washing machine space is a bit tight, but it totally got the job done. Location is central between Boone and Blowing Rock, took no time to get to either place. Check in process is super easy as well as the check out process. Probably the simplest checkout check list I have seen in a while, which I highly appreciated. Cannot say enough positive things… just rent it, you won’t be sorry.
