Host communicated well with clear instructions. Property was great! Loved being able to have kayaks to use whenever we wanted. So many Goslings and turtles! Would stay again if coming back to the area!!

We had a great stay at this property. Very well maintained with space to spread out. Kids as well as adults had a great time fishing from the dock. We had a medical emergency the last night of our stay and were very lucky that Abbey and Nick had provided a laminated sheet with all the information we needed to find assistance. Communication with them was very easy. Would stay here again!

We loved our vacation in the “UP”. We thoroughly enjoyed all that Abbey and Nicks home had to offer. We would definitely stay again!!

Summer in the UP of Michigan didn’t disappoint! From kayaking, mountain biking, fishing, and hiking, to chasing waterfalls and swimming in the crisp waters of Lake Superior — every day was an adventure. We just finished our one week stay at your house and we loved it!! We had so much room for the 9 of us (8 adults and 1 toddler) to spread out and loved being able to eat all together at the kitchen table. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable, furniture was comfy, plenty of towels, kitchen was well stocked, kayaks and paddle board was a huge hit, grill worked great! We didn’t get to utilize the outdoors as much as we would have liked (for fires and outdoor eating ) because of the biting flies and mosquitoes but that is the UP in June. The lake was swimable, the fishing was good and location was perfect for catching the ORV trails. Two recommendations from the adult kids: another TV in the basement and a mattress topper for the pull-out couch. Would we stay here again if I came to the UP? Would I recommend to a friend? I can’t say enough about how wonderful this rental is. I am a clean and neat freak and this place is sparkling clean! They use the best cleaning products. Beds are so comfortable! Extremely spacious! We were up snowmobiling and it’s very close to the trails. The driveway is wide and very truck and trailer friendly! Highly recommend! We plan to book again to enjoy the lake in the summer!

Great home, great location in the woods by a lake.

We arrived and were thrilled with the location. The house was immaculate and the grounds were great. The seven of us had a wonderful time just relaxing. We had a nice campfire the first night and some of us went kayaking later in our stay. A great time was had by our group and we would not hesitate to return. If you're looking for a secluded getaway, look no further.

This property is a true gem. We have stayed in many, many VRBO's, and this home is at the top of the list. Not only is the home very clean, but it's well appointed and private. There is room for the whole family. Everything was very comfortable and there are many options for outdoor enjoyment and relaxation. Please note that this home does use highly fragranced detergent on the bedding and towels for those that are highly sensitive (like my family). The home is also close to all the things you want to do by Lake Superior - but still remote enough for the peace and quiet we all need. I would highly recommend this home. I plan to book again for our yearly artists retreat. So much inspiration!

We had a wonderful visit at this beautiful spot. The house was clean, the beds were a dream, and the view was fantastic. Looking at old reviews I will say the water is fine to drink, and actually tastes pretty good. No worries there. The cell service is not really accessible without WiFi calling.

Our family (8 of us) stayed here for a week. We loved it. Such a beautiful space inside and out. It wasn’t far from the picture rock hikes that we love. Almost any window you look out of the house is the lake. We used the kayaks and fished. Caught crappie, bass and a few pike. Overall it was a great time. Thank you to the hosts for being so quick to respond to us when needed. You couldn’t ask for nicer people.
