The customer service from the rental service was wonderful. It is a small quaint cottage, but I think it is perfect.

Perfect getaway in beautiful Manistee. The beach was superb and just a somewhat steep stairway down from the house. It was a much needed vacation before everyone goes back to school.

Great little cabin with a spectacular beach. We paddle boarded most days and visited Sleeping Bear. House is well stocked with everything. Every drawer had something in it, pens, foil, lighters, games, every kind of pot and pan, ect. It would actually be useful if they emptied out a cabinet for any pantry food you brought with you. The water has a mineral taste so we bought jugs. Also there is a window unit in the kitchen, but no real AC in the bedrooms which we were prepared for. Nights were generally cool enough to open the windows. Our family of 5 had a great and memorable time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love the location! We were able to take multiple walks on the beach each day and it was like was had the whole lake to ourselves! We were still close to town and the casino for rainy days. The house is definitely a cottage, but it suited our needs well enough. The view and ability to be Lake Michigan lake front was the best!

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our 3-night stay while enjoying the colors in the Manistee area. The cabin may sleep 8, but has a small living area, which was fine for the two of us. Cottage was clean, though there were cobwebs in a couple of areas. Kitchen is good, well-equipped, and clean. We missed having local network TV available. We were unable to find it. Some conflicting instructions between on the wall posting and more recent (we guessed) in the notebook provided. Nice Dish TV package, but no locals, even over the air. Got to visit the Michigan Sequoia trees, which was great, and enjoyed Big Al's Pizza -- a must! Oh, and something non-skid in the bathtub would be nice.

Much older home and is small but clean. The view of Lake Michigan from the home was beautiful. Enough room for all of us to stay. Access to beach was amazing and very convenient and right out the back door. The beach was very nice. We drove to Arcadia and walked the trails and dunes which were only 25 min drive We will definitely be staying again.
