Lake Front Cottage with great beach and swimming. Afternoon sun, great sunsets.

Over the last 15 years, we have stayed at multiple rental properties throughout Vermont, always searching for that perfect place to come back to year after year. This home on Lake Dunmore is definitely in the running for one of our top two favorites.Howard was excellent to work with and always responded quickly to any questions or messages. The house sits right on beautiful Lake Dunmore and offers stunning views of both the lake and the surrounding mountains. Waking up each morning and enjoying the scenery was one of the highlights of our trip.The home is cozy, comfortable, and well-suited for a family of four to six people. It had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation and truly felt like a home away from home.The swimming and fishing were both excellent. The water was a little cool for swimming, but that's simply the time of year we visited and certainly not a reflection of the property. In fact, the cooler temperatures were a small tradeoff for the beautiful weather we enjoyed throughout the week.We would highly recommend this property to anyone planning a Vermont getaway. After a wonderful stay, we honestly cannot think of a single complaint or negative thing to say. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would gladly stay again.

Lake Dunmore is exceptional. The cottage was very welcoming and the host was friendly and responsive.

Nice cabin on Lake Dunmore. Great location if you're looking for a quiet time on the lake with easy access to nearby trails.

We enjoyed the view and the lake. Getting in and out was easy. Was clean but there was pet hair on blankets. The kitchen didn’t have dish towels which made doing dishes a little harder.

Cottage was just what we were looking for. The setting made for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. It didn’t matter if we were sitting around the fire pit or on the porch the views couldn’t be matched. It was one of the best vacations ever. Our host Howard was great from the beginning of the renting process till the end. We had one little problem that was taken care of within minutes of our text. Thank you Howard

The cottage was perfect for our needs. The Indoor and outdoor views of the lake were the highlight. The host was lovely and accommodating, so easy to work with. Highly recommend, Particularly for those looking for a low-key experience that prioritizes a superb lakefront location.

Loved the view of lake in back yard. Great for coffee! House had everything you needed. Only complaint was that it was little dirty.

Once again our family had a terrific time even though we experienced a lake at the highest ive ever seen. We will be back. Thank you DeVoid family

Had a wonderfully relaxing week at lake Dunmore. Beautiful swimming area. Love the porch overlooking the lake, and the nice yard. Can’t wait to visit again next year!
