Relaxing and exceptional views of the lake. Home equipped with all that is needed in a home away from home. Stairs and split level room navigation awareness is needed for this property. We live in a ADA home and placing reminders around these areas presented no problem for us at 74yrs in this beautiful home on Lake Champlain.

The house was beautiful, bright, clean, and comfy with beautiful views of the lake and fabulous sunsets! The house was fully stocked with all that we needed. Check in and check out were easy, and Tom, our host, was readily available with the couple of questions I had. I highly recommend this house as a wonderful vacation spot.

I can only echo what others have already said. The cottage was charming, clean, and appointed with many. lovely touches. The home is not large, but the useful space has been deliberately and cleverly maximized. And, while it was partially a working vacation, my office in the dining area, with windows overlooking the lake on three sides, often made it hard to focus on my computer screen. (I didn't really mind.) The deck is vacation destination in and of itself, with views that can't be beat. They didn't have to add the beautiful climbing flowering plants, but I am so glad they did. It immediately brought me back to a long ago stay overlooking Lake Como. As noted by other guests, the broad retractable awning made the space comfortable for most of even the hottest days. The property is private, quiet, and very peaceful. Falling asleep in the hammock is not hard to do. Classic summertime vibe.I would definitely consider booking again. That said, there are a couple things I would like to point out. The mini split in the main living area does nicely cool most of the house. However, the loft bedroom can remain rather warm, even overnight. And, if you need to keep the door of the primary bedroom closed, it does get pretty toasty. Standing fans to circulate the cooler air would be a helpful addition. Finally, I had not realized there was no direct access to the lake. Replacing the dock would make this spot practically perfect!

Have stayed at this cottage many times since 2005. Beautiful sun sets on Lake Champlain. Owner provides many conveniences to make the visit enjoyable. Will be back again next year.

What a perfect place and setting, it never disappoints. This is our 3rd year here, and we have already booked for next year. Views continue to amaze us, you will not find a better spot for sunsets or for a fire in the firepit area. We even caught a few fish off the backyard. The house is comfortable and close to everything that you need. Thomas our host was very communicative. The house itself is very well furnished!

Property and view are spectacular. House is beautifully decorated, fully equipped, and very comfortable. Lake is not accessible at this time which is the only significant downside at the moment.

We - adult couple - had a Saturday to Saturday rental in late June. We also had two single family members visit for one night each. This is a case where the on-line photos accurately show how special this house is. The house itself is charming, and ideal for smaller groups...our guests were delighted with the loft bedroom and bath. It also is the BEST equipped home I've rented in 40-odd years of vacation rentals. There is absolutely nothing that isn't provided. But apart from the style and comfort of the house is the spectacular view of Lake Champlain...from the house, from the deck, and from the terrace below. During our week we had quite varied weather, from stormy and windy with whitecaps, to sunny, warm and dead calm. And the lake was fascinating at all times. And toss in several stunning sunsets. A final major plus is the close availability of several very fine dining options, both more formal for dinner and casual for lunches...so it's certainly not necessary to cook at home very often. Bottom line: we loved our week here and plan to go back!

You absolutely cannot beat the setting. I'm in the moment to pull it off of the street. It's magical. This will be our third year in a row and we've already booked the fourth year.
