This is a detached guest house of 520 square feet of living space on the ground floor. Bayfield is between Durango and Pagosa Springs: there is no need to change hotels in order to enjoy both tourist towns!
Normally I require a 2-night minimum stay. However, if it is late in the day and you would like to stay here for that night only, send me a message to see if it is possible...it just may be!
This guest house provides a studio layout. The king bed has a luxurious foam mattress

Stayed Dec 31, 1969It is a cozy overnight place to stay when you need a kitchenette and don't want to deal with a hotel. We were able to pull our car up to the cottage and unload. The host was very nice about shovelibg the pathway from the cottage to our car befire we awoke the next morning. It is small, but fine for a couple. The bed was comfy, shower was great, kitchenette was nice with full fridge. Only negatives were the furniture is arranged oddly as there are no bedside tables and the littke sofa was underneath the tv. Also in the bathroom the sink is tiny and there is no where to set your toiletry bag. Overall it worked well for our short stay, no complaints. I am just one to look for areas of improvement. ?

Stayed Aug 16, 2024We were looking for a place to stay in Bayfield while we visited family and friends. This home fit the bill! It was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. The weather was warm and on the first night we had a little trouble getting the room cool enough for us but we eventually did. Overall it met all of our needs.
