Junebug Cottage: peace, love and privacy a short walk to Woodstock village green

We were in Woodstock for a wedding. Junebug Cottage was perfect for our stay!

We had a great stay. The property was perfectly located just outside the town center.

The Junebug was really wonderful - spacious and comfortable; the hosts really thought of everything and did not skimp when they built the cottage. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming cottage. Check-in was a breeze, the proximity to town was great, and the cottage itself was well-appointed, clean, and very comfortable!

The cottage is immaculate and extremely well appointed. The walk to town is a bit far and there are no sidewalks, so expect to drive there. The dog in the main house is a bit of yapper.

Very clean, cozy and comfortable house. Perfect for 2 people and the back patio with Blackstone grill is where we spent a lot of time. Access to the fire pit was a bonus and being able to walk to town is true. There is an EV charger only a .5 mile walk away and on your way into town. Sylvia restaurant was one of the best dining experiences this year for us and funky/quirky Early Terrible should not be missed. A gem of a place, John & Mollie were highly communicative and great host. It is their guest house so they are available when needed, yet always respectful of our space.

We had a lovely stay at the junebug cottage. John and Molly could not have been better hosts. The cottage was clean and bright and cozy. We appreciated that our hosts were communicative and sent us lists of fun things to do in the area and great restaurant recommendations. We would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay, it was quiet and calm. Such a beautiful little cottage, we felt very comfortable.

A great cottage. Very close to town. We were able to walk every morning into town for bagels. We were lucky and spotted a Bald Eagle cruising the sky on an early morning walk into town. Great meals at Oriole 9, The Pub, and Pearl Moon. We stayed for 3 nights and were able to get in 20 miles of hiking all a short drive away. Highly recommend the Overlook Fire Tower and Mount Tremper Fire Tower. The cottage had everything we needed and the hosts were perfect. Can’t wait to return.

Very welcoming, cozy space. Location was perfect, right near the downtown area. Everything was very clean and had some extras to offer! Would definitely come back!

This cottage (very nice size and layout) was amazing and the hosts John and Mollie are so great! We can’t wait to return next year! This is a 10/10! It was so clean, inviting and has great amenities. The cottage was just what I needed. Peaceful & quiet to escape the noise of the city. The cottage had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Except the food, of course.

We found the cabin charming, comfortable and immaculate. The hosts John and Holly were friendly and attentive.Our 2 week stay was hassle free and relaxing. We would definitely stay at Junebug again.

The cabin is well appointed and beautifully decorated. The tv gives you all options possible. John and Mollie are attentive and pleasant. The location was great—close to town. And, most importantly, there was an EV plug less than a mile away so we could charge our electric car, and walk back to the cabin—enabling leaving it there for a while. We hope to return next year!

This was the perfect combination of a rural hideaway and all the amenities you'd hope for from a rental. Classic Woodstock. I loved my stay.

Very Comfortable

We stayed in Junebug Cottage for a long weekend getaway this winter, and it was everything we could have asked for in a quick couple’s getaway. From initial booking, John & Mollie were incredibly communicative and made sure we felt welcomed and had all the information we needed about the space and the area.The cottage is beautiful, immaculately kept and so clean. It has everything you could need for a weekend stay. We had a bad snow/ice storm the weekend we were there, and the cottage was so warm and cozy (and the property even has a backup generator, which we were so lucky to have when strong winds took the power out a couple times!). John went out of his way helping to shovel and salt the walkway and driveway, which was so sweet of him and very appreciated.The house is just a short drive into town (which we explored between snow and rain), and there’s wonderful restaurants nearby. But we mostly enjoyed sleeping in, reading, and watching some TV. We can’t wait to come back again in the summer/fall to experience Woodstock in another season (and certainly will be staying at Junebug Cottage again!).

The cottage is adorable and clean and recently renovated. Location is close to town and yet tucked away and peaceful. I have never experienced such wonderful hosts who truly go above and beyond. I'm so thankful I reserved Junebug Cottage for my stay in Woodstock.

We had a great time spending a long weekend here. A cute little cottage located within walking distance from downtown and many hiking trails. Owner was great at communicating! Highly recommended.

What a delightful cottage! Impeccably clean. Quite spacious. You could spend a day on property just relaxing on your private back patio, front porch or over by the outdoor firepit. Have already referred this property to a few friends who are planning stays in the Woodstock area. You will be impressed and more than pleased with this booking.

Our stay at Junebug Cottage was absolutely wonderful! The renovation of this charming cottage utilized every inch of space for comfort and practicality. The high quality granite, tile, carpets, and light fixtures were perfectly chosen to reflect the history of the property and add some style and luxury! The owners were attentive and obviously keep the cottage impeccably clean. We hope to stay here again and again!
